Granular Permissions for Individual Site Management Features
Currently, the Site Management permission in the RingCentral Admin Portal does not appear to provide granular access controls for individual features. Administrators need more flexibility to assign permissions based on each user's responsibilities.
For example, an administrator may want to allow a specific user to manage Multi-Site Call Forwarding while preventing access to Call Queues, IVR Menus, Prompts Library, and other Site Management settings.
I would like to request the ability to configure permissions for each feature under Site Management independently, rather than granting access to the entire category.
Requested Functionality:
Allow administrators to grant or restrict access to individual Site Management features.
Provide separate permission levels, such as View, Edit, and No Access, where applicable.
Allow access to Multi-Site Call Forwarding without granting access to Call Queues, IVR Menus, Prompts Library, or other unrelated settings.
Ensure restricted features are hidden or inaccessible to users without the appropriate permissions.
Support these permissions through custom administrator roles.
Business Justification:
This enhancement would provide greater administrative flexibility, improve security, and enforce the principle of least privilege. Organizations could delegate specific responsibilities to users without granting unnecessary access to other site configuration settings.
Expected Outcome:
Administrators can create custom roles that grant users access only to the Site Management features required for their responsibilities, reducing the risk of unauthorized or unintended configuration changes.
