Description:

Currently, administrators need to select an appropriate time zone when configuring sites. However, some locations require a fixed UTC offset throughout the year, without automatic daylight saving time adjustments.

We are requesting additional time zone options that support permanent UTC offsets (e.g., UTC-07:00 Permanent, UTC-06:00 Permanent, UTC-05:00 Permanent).

Requested Enhancement:

Add permanent UTC offset time zone options to the available site time zone settings. These options should maintain the selected UTC offset throughout the year, regardless of daylight saving time changes.

For example:

(UTC-07:00) Permanent

(UTC-06:00) Permanent

(UTC-05:00) Permanent

Other applicable permanent UTC offsets.

The selected permanent time zone should also be consistently reflected in associated services and devices, including desk phones, where applicable.

Business Justification:

Provides greater flexibility for organizations operating in locations that observe fixed UTC offsets.

Prevents unexpected time changes caused by daylight saving time adjustments.

Ensures consistent time display across sites and associated desk phones.

Reduces the need for administrators to frequently review and modify time zone configurations.

Expected Behavior:

Administrators should be able to select a permanent UTC offset when configuring a site's time zone. Once selected, the system should maintain that exact UTC offset throughout the year without applying daylight saving time adjustments.
