  1. Kreg wants to have the possibility to hover over a number and be presented with the chance to call or send SMS, which was with the RingCentral for HubSpot extension.

    He is gutted that he has to navigate a few steps before calling a contact or sending an SMS.

    He says this makes things more complicated.

  4. Enabling Messaging in RC seems to force the application to have only: Available, DND and Invisible while giving the Set Status Message option. By disabling Messaging, users gain Busy as an option (in addition to Available, DND and Invisible), but then lose the Set Status Message. When trying to set up the Presence link between RC and Team, the vast majority of actions seem to rely on setting Busy as the status and simply do nothing when there is no Busy status available. DND will replicate across Teams and RC, but that's about it.

  7. Settings are limited, for example volume in app is a smooth slider of 100, whereas in Salesforce integration it's in movement of 10 so calls are starting when you are completing other task if you have system volume raised

    Currently, when creating or managing BYOC phone numbers via the API (endpoint:
    /restapi/v2/accounts/~/byoc-carriers/{byoccarrierid}), there is no way to assign a display name or label to a number.

    This omission leads to confusion and manual overhead, especially when Caller ID numbers are selected by end-users — since names are visible in the UI, but not assignable via API.

    Problem Statement:

    • Numbers created or provisioned via API have no associated label.
    • In the RingCentral admin portal or apps, these numbers appear unnamed, making it difficult for admins and users to identify their purpose.

    Introduce an official and documented API endpoint to apply a Call Queue template directly when creating or updating multiple call queues, ensuring the template’s configuration is systematically reflected during provisioning.

    Current Issue:
    - There is no standard API to directly apply a Call Queue template at creation time.
    - The current workaround involves copying settings manually from an existing queue, but this does not always reflect the full template configuration.
    - This leads to inconsistent behavior and slows down automated provisioning pipelines, especially in large-scale deployments.

  19. Currently, every time a user changes their status in MS Teams/Teams Embedded App, it shows in the Audit Trail in the Admin Portal, which causes the logs to become cluttered, making it difficult to track other important activities.

  20. Please allow us to set an email address for fax status notifications. When the notification is received at the default address, I have to forward it to Salesforce. It would be ideal if I could set my Salesforce email as the destination for such notifications to eliminate redundant steps.
