Our customer, Brevard Workforce Development, requested the ability to retain their legacy extension 0511, which starts with “0.” Currently, RingCentral does not allow extensions beginning with “0,” creating challenges during migration from their old phone system.
We fully support this feature request and encourage prioritization, as it will help businesses maintain continuity, reduce internal confusion, and minimize support escalations.

The customer requested a feature to create a custom role that allows specific users to access call recordings. The role should also provide the ability to select which users’ recordings are accessible, giving granular control over call recording access.
Current Limitation:
Our system does not currently support creating such a custom role or selectively granting access to call recordings.
Recommendation:
Consider implementing a feature to define a custom role for call recording access with selective user permissions to enhance administrative control and security.
