Yes this is a must for our business as well. Need to include a confidential statement on the cover page when sending out via the RC desktop app.

Please! Email to @rcfax.com works with any email client including mobile - easiest way to configure for mixed location users, BUT custom cover page is a must.

Any business that sends sensitive information in a fax is required to have a HIPPA compliant Fax cover letter. You have NO option for us to either choose a HIPPA compliant fax cover letter or to create one. At least in the Classic we could create one ourselves. That option as of now does not exist. This should be taken care of BEFORE requiring users to change over to the new version!

You are pushing everyone to the RingCentral App which does NOT have a custom fax coversheet. That would not be a problem if you had a HIPAA compliant built in coversheet but you DO NOT. RingCentral says they are HIPAA compliant however HIPAA requires a protected health information disclosure statement on EVERY Fax coversheet containing Protected Health Information. That means RingCentral is NOT HIPAA compliant. I have been using the RC Phone app with my own custom coversheet to make the RC HIPAA compliant but this app is being retired. You are selling a product stating it is compliant and probably misleading many other healthcare providers that they are following HIPAA protocols by using your product but that is not true unless RC makes a HIPAA complaint Fax Coversheet. I have requested this before but it needs to be handled ASAP. This should be a very easy fix, please create a HIPAA compliant Fax Coversheet as soon as possible so we can continue using your product.

I am not even sure if there email to fax system is HIPAA compliant...you should ask them because they told me not to use it when I switched to a HIPAA account!

Creating a HIPAA compliant fax Cover sheet with specification to directed individual is a necessity to streamline otherwise Protected health information could be wrongfully distributed.

The Cover sheet already provides a section for (To:) but this does not get populated. This would be very nice to be able to populate the data with information such as (Attn: to etc. ). That way if it goes to a community fax the fax is known where or to whom it is to be directed.

The ability to produce a custom fax cover page which includes company logo, and any other custom statements (like HIPAA or other confidential statements) should be available from the Administrator Portal and from the GLIP Desktop App. This feature is already in the Classic Ringcentral app and we have made use of this feature. Porting this existing feature to the GLIP application will allow us users to move toward your goal of having one desktop application for all. If this feature is implemented in the Administrator Portal then the admin can make separate ones for different locations and save them in templates to make it a lot easier on our staff who are often not capable or do not have time to customize a fax on every send.

If you use the Ring Central Desktop application, you can customize fax headers with no issues in a variety of ways. Unfortunately, almost no one uses the app, it is so much easier to send faxes by email. The customization options for the header page for email faxes is sorely lacking compared to the full desktop, please fix.

We have to include the HIPAA statement on our faxes as well. Its on our custom coverpage, however the custom coverpage DOES NOT SUPPORT pagecounts! Why would RingCentral not have this field available??

Yes this would make things much better for us instead of having to copy / paste the long HIPAA comploiance statment into every email fax...

The purpose of this application is to make life easier. But you're not actually making things easier on us staff members because now we're having to come up with workarounds to include the HIPAA statement on our fax cover sheets in accordance w/licensure regulations or risk being cited.

I too agree with the aforementioned rationale. This is a much needed feature in our organization!!! Please consider ASAP

This should definitely be a feature that is allowable in the ap. We need to include this custom HIPAA statement in our fax cover sheet per licensure regulations and we can't do so with your current software application. This places us at risk of licensing citations.
