Audio Tone when a call disconnects
A small but impactful feature that other systems we've used have is an audio tone/cue when a call is disconnected, whether abruptly or when a call is naturally ended. For anyone using a softphone and using multiple windows on a screen, sometimes it is hard to know if the call was disconnected or if the window is lost somewhere on the screen. Time is spent double checking if a call is still active or not rather than having something notify you appropriately.

Please do implement this! when taking so many calls in a day it is crucial to save those few seconds each double checking that the call has ended. it seems like others feel the same and it would greatly improve the user experience!

We've just started using Ringcentral recently and the fact that it doesn't play a notification upon disconnecting a call is the aspect that's taking the most getting used to. Every time I finish a call, or the person on the other end hangs up, I have to manually double check that the call window has disappeared to make sure the call is actually over. I can see that this was suggested more than 2 years ago and is still under review - it would be great if the change could be made!

I'm stunned this isn't a feature. It seem so basic. We must have a dozen different softphones and video conferencing products, RingCentral is the only one I know of that doesn't indicate when a call ends. Whenever I end a call I sit in silence until I can tab over to the RingCentral application and make sure the call has ended. Craziness!

Can we please have this implemented? It's such a simple and important feature. It is extremely frustrating when you are on a work call that ends abruptly and you continue talking without knowing or when then other person hangs up and you have to go verify the call actually ended.

Can we please have this implemented, with the ring central phone app no longer being serviced not being notified if a caller has accidentally hung up can cause issues if another call comes through before we realise and can call back

can we please get an update on this??? This was on the ringcentral phone app and now you have stopped service on that app and forced us to this new one and now i have no idea when someone hangs up - 3 times today i am just talking to dead air. This is a vital function??

Anyone from RingCentral team have an update on this being a feature? I catch myself not realizing a call didn't actually hang up and I start talking to someone in my office or the person on the other end is doing the same with someone in their office until we realize we can still hear each other.

I want a notification sound when the caller disconnects from a call I take through the ring central desktop app. I can't tell when someone hangs up except for the pop-up screen disappears. I'd really like a sound too. I'm concerned the window has just disappeared behind another screen and feel unsure that the caller is actually disconnected. A notification sound would make the disconnection more pronounced.

I would like the option for a sound to play when the line disconnects. Options to upload a sound or select from an option of tones would be nice. I had one system that played two short mid to low range tones on disconnect.

Currently, there is no tone or noise made when a call ends. I have been disconnected from calls and continued talking to nothing because I had no idea. A simple tone that is played when the call ends would be wonderful.
