macOS Universal Application - Apple Silicon M1
Zoom added their Universal Binary which supports their M1 chips without going through their Rosetta 2 emulation. I believe this would help RingCentral as I occasionally experience application freezes on the M1 when trying to enable my camera / audio too quickly after loading into a meeting or trying to share my screen. I believe natively supporting the M1 would resolve those issues.

We will wait until late 21 to start to replace systems with arm based macs. If this is not implemented by then we will need to look for another vendor. I've been piloting the M1 and RC struggles on there. Thanks

It seems that any business that uses RC and Mac clients will need a native M1 app sooner rather than later since Apple is transitioning all of its systems to Apple Silicon. Assuming RingCentral continues to offer cross-platform compatibility, the question here is when not if. It would be good to have some communication to customers regarding the target timeline for this support so that we can all plan accordingly.
