RC app to work with android auto

Would love to have the RC app show up in android auto and work with calls like the phone app or teams. It is currently for me not being treated like other messaging apps.

    I submitted a support ticket and was told that "it appears this is a compatibility issue between your device and the RC App. This was submitted as a Feature Request for our Product Enhancement team to review."

    Half the world uses Android phones. How can they suggest that making RC work with Android devices is a "feature request" and not a critical bug fix that needs to be escalated and resolved immediately?
    If my sales team and I cannot take hands free calls in our vehicles I will have no choice but to cancel RC and transfer our service to a platform that can support this basic functionality.

    This is a CRITICAL function. Calls have been available on CarPlay for 3 years.
    Being forced to pick up the phone in the means breaking CA law to take or make a call. RC currently does not render audio from connected callers making the service useless for business requiring mobile communication. Currently WhatsApp is fully implemented but RC isnt. Staff will resort to using WhatsApp in their cars which is less than ideal. Unfortunately, WhatsApp is not HIPAA-compliant which means that RC has become useless for me as a physician!

    Until a couple months ago RingCentral "sort of" worked with my Android Auto. RC currently does not render audio from connected callers making the service useless for business requiring mobile communication.

    This is really needed now. Calls have been available on CarPlay for 3 years.

    We have a small fleet of cars that have Android Auto and this feature would be huge for us.

    Currently WhatsApp is fully implemented but RC isnt. Staff will resort to using WhatsApp in their cars which is less than ideal.
