Head over to Settings, then select phone. In the General Section there will be a toggle to turn on or off for "Call Disconnect Tone"

Over two years - I guess we won't get a little blip sound at the end of calls? Nope, instead it's AI this and AI that.

This would be great to have amended! Its difficult to know when the call has ended or not!

Please do implement this! when taking so many calls in a day it is crucial to save those few seconds each double checking that the call has ended. it seems like others feel the same and it would greatly improve the user experience!

We've just started using Ringcentral recently and the fact that it doesn't play a notification upon disconnecting a call is the aspect that's taking the most getting used to. Every time I finish a call, or the person on the other end hangs up, I have to manually double check that the call window has disappeared to make sure the call is actually over. I can see that this was suggested more than 2 years ago and is still under review - it would be great if the change could be made!

I'm stunned this isn't a feature. It seem so basic. We must have a dozen different softphones and video conferencing products, RingCentral is the only one I know of that doesn't indicate when a call ends. Whenever I end a call I sit in silence until I can tab over to the RingCentral application and make sure the call has ended. Craziness!

This was post in 2023 and still hasn't been done... Ridiculous. Such a simple feature that is so helpful.

THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE!! All of your competitors have this feature!!! This is beyond low hanging fruit!!

Can we please have this implemented? It's such a simple and important feature. It is extremely frustrating when you are on a work call that ends abruptly and you continue talking without knowing or when then other person hangs up and you have to go verify the call actually ended.

The ability to immediately know when a call has ended is crucial to business operations, especially in moments of high workflow when there is limited time between calls. Please implement this change as soon as possible.

Can we please have this implemented, with the ring central phone app no longer being serviced not being notified if a caller has accidentally hung up can cause issues if another call comes through before we realise and can call back

can we please get an update on this??? This was on the ringcentral phone app and now you have stopped service on that app and forced us to this new one and now i have no idea when someone hangs up - 3 times today i am just talking to dead air. This is a vital function??

Anyone from RingCentral team have an update on this being a feature? I catch myself not realizing a call didn't actually hang up and I start talking to someone in my office or the person on the other end is doing the same with someone in their office until we realize we can still hear each other.

Crucial for multiple interaction handling

I want a notification sound when the caller disconnects from a call I take through the ring central desktop app. I can't tell when someone hangs up except for the pop-up screen disappears. I'd really like a sound too. I'm concerned the window has just disappeared behind another screen and feel unsure that the caller is actually disconnected. A notification sound would make the disconnection more pronounced.

any updates from RC on this feature request? This is a useful suggestion and we are also looking for this feature.

want to have a beep sound or an indicator that the customer or the other party already hang up on the other line

Would be very useful to have an alert when a call is disconnected.
