Call Forwarding based on Status (available, busy, do not disturb, etc)
If a user is in an appointment, away for an extended period, or on lunch, it would be helpful to forward the calls to a receptionist. Currently the call forwarding feature can only be enabled during specific times. It would be helpful to allow the user to enable call forwarding by changing their status to "do not disturb" or adding a new "call forwarding" status. That way it can be easily enabled when they know they will be away.

I agree this is a very important feature for users. Allowing for triggering of "Call forwarding" based on presence statuses. Especially with the ability to connect calendars from Microsoft 365 and Exchange. This would make the Desktop application a larger contender for switching Teams users to the RingCentral application. With this capability, a natural benefit for RingCentral would be enhanced adoption of the RingCentral Desktop application.

This would be a very important feature for us too. Call forwarding on busy would be most critical.

This is a feature gap for those of us migrating from Mitel. This would be very helpful for those transitioning.

ability to forward calls based on "do not disturb" status. Option to forward calls or create rules based on users status. For instance, they are on DND, creating a custom rule based on the status will be helpful.
