Please make this a priority, we need this for patient care.

In a healthcare setting, patients have been used to dialing "0" to reach the operator for decades. We use hotel style phones in patient rooms that do not have speed dial buttons or side-cars. We recently had an issue with a patient emergency where the patient dialed "0" just to be met by an error message. That's not a good look for a hospital!

Our healthcare client had a patient emergency and were already used to "0" internal dialing from their Mitel platform. Every second wasted could cost a life. The request for "0" to be dialible internally and programmable to the client's requirements should be considered Vital but the highest I could mark this 'vote' was critical.

Who's here in 2026 wondering why this hasn't been implemented yet? 🤔

Also new to RC here. Crazy that this isn't already a thing. My dad worked for Ma Bell and the Baby Bells in the late 70's thru the end of the 90's and every phone system they were selling to businesses had the ability to program 0 to call the operator. That's nearly 50 years ago. Come on, RingCentral.

We are rather new to RingCentral and extremely surprised this isn't already a function. It has been standard in our previous phone implementations.
Since it has been marked as Under Review since 2022, I'm guessing there isn't much interest by RingCentral to add this function.
Disappointing!!

Please make this a priority! 0 should be an assignable extension just like anything else - currently says reserved.

Every phone system for the last 40 years has had this option. What's the holdup?
