Display & change your own status in heads up display - HUD
It would be very useful to display and change your own status in the HUD.

Hello, can you please clarify what you are referring to? Screenshots are very helpful. Are you referring to the status when the HUD is popped out from the RingCentral app?

Yes the reference is for the app when the HUD is popped out or when view it in the Phone area in the app. Our business is new to RingCentral and all users are requesting to be able to see their own status in the HUD. It would be very beneficial especially when users often forget to update their status as it is not visible to them. It would also be helpful to give Admin rights to update users status message. Thank you.

I agree with Alex. Turning the status off and go back and change the message every time to update the status is problematic, this is why sometime we forget if we don’t see it.

as is, its easy to forget up update your status message, having your status message visible in HUD will make is easier to keep it accurate

Very good idea, helps to keep informed of personal status plus ability to change own status in HUD will ideally allow lesser clicks
