We would like to request a feature enhancement that, when dialing the main number, the system will display the calling user's extension number instead of the caller ID number or used in RC App. This would help to more accurately reflect the internal caller identity, particularly for users who may be calling from various devices or locations but need to be identified by their extension rather than the main number.
Use Case:
Scenario: An employee calls from the main company number, but the recipient should see the caller’s extension number instead of the caller ID number or used in RC App. This will help recipients know who is calling, even if the call is routed through the main number or call handling system.
Benefit:
More accurate identification of the caller within the organization.
Enhanced internal communication, especially in larger teams or departments where multiple users share the same main line.
Expected Outcome:
When a user dials out using the main number, the caller ID displayed should reflect the user’s extension number rather than the company's main number.
