Multiple User on Operator
ability to setup the SMS messaging on the operator so they can assist different users to get SMS from the Company's Main Number.

After we obtained approval for Business SMS / texting, we learned that only one user can text using either of our two public company numbers. The small business world requires SMS ability for everyone that communicates with the client. In my two small businesses, we need it in sales and in service. It would be a tremendous help for each user to be able to communicate with clients by SMS through the outward-facing numbers.

Because we are very small, every aspect of our business affects our business, and our ability to serve others, more than with other companies.
We operate two different companies, which our RingCentral account serves - Forward Digital Marketing (FDM) and Signatronics Inc.
We learned, after the long process of obtaining approval for Business SMS / texting, that only one User can text using his/her assigned direct number AND using either of our two company numbers.
We need All Users to be able to text with clients and potential clients - of both of our businesses.
Conducting business requires text vs email, more and more every day. -

We had to implement a very impractical solution to ensure that, should our usual SMS/Fax operator is out of office, that we are still able to send/receive texts & faxes in a timely manner. Requiring a super admin to manually change the SMS/Fax operator whenever the usual operator is out of office is impractical and, at times, impossible depending on the availability of the super admins. For the organization I work for, not having access to (often critical) texts & faxes can result in severe repercussions.
Having multiple users able to send/receive texts & faxes to/from our main company number/fax number would resolve significant issues in a more direct and practical manner. Finding a workaround took several hours, and even still the solution we found is far from ideal.
