Less and less confidence in the performance of the Teams embedded desktop plugin. We are asking more and more users to use the web page (app.ringcentral.com) or in some cases even deploying the full fat client. But we simply do not need to see the messaging, fax, meeting and video sidebars.
All we want is a dialpad and maybe contacts.
Surely this should be customisable? -

My company uses MS Teams for several of these features so we would like to be able to disable features not in use from end users.
Not being able to remove them from end users is preventing us from deploying the Ring central client and relying on the RC Teams plugin. -

We use the Ring Central application for calls and SMS. We have a separate service for instant messaging. Having so many extra options, including messaging, on the Ring Central side panel causes confusion among our users.

Yes, please add an option to disable the chat and video call/meeting tabs. We use SMS, Call/Phone, and contacts. But we use google for internal messages and video meetings. Having this active on RingCentral creates confusion for employees.
