SMS Recipient Removal in Call Queues
As an admin, I cannot remove an SMS Recipient once added to a Call Queue. My only options are to just disable notifications, or to totally delete the Call Queue and recreate it. Need a "Delete" option for SMS Recipients on Call Queues.

Agreed. We did not have someone specific on the queue before, and it just went to a group email. The team responded based on availability. I accidentally added a staff member to the call queue texts, and now she is becoming inundated with texts. I want to go back to how we had it set up before, but it's not an option.

Hello Seth, I had the same experience last week. Today (7/14/2025), I created a new CQ in RingEX and after I assigned myself as a manager with full access, I received an email stating:
Dear Morgan,
You have been added as the {call queue's name} SMS Recipient for your company’s RingCentral mobile business phone system.
When customers send text messages to WS Study Abroad (formally ISA), you will receive these messages in the RingCentral desktop and mobile applications.
Thank you for using RingCentral!
I called the RC support number and explained the issue to the tech, he went to the support website and located this article:
