Phone Number out of Service - Notification
When a phone number is out of service., the caller should receive a voice notification saysing "There is no connection for the number you have dialled, please contact directory inquiries" - "Die von Ihnen gewählte Rufnummer ist nicht vergeben, bitte rufen Sie die Auskunft an."
At the moment there is only a busy tone or something comparable played down leaving the caller in an unsatisfying user experience (Callers in Germany are used to this announcement).

In our setup, phone numbers that are not in use will provide a similar recording if the number is moved to "inventory." Simply search for the numbers in use, check the number and click "move to inventory" at the top of the page. Then, calls to this number will get a recording that says "The number you have dialed is not in service at this time. Thank you for calling. Goodbye."

Die Telefonanlage gibt nicht an, warum eine Verbindung nicht zustande kommt (Anschluss existiert nicht mehr oder aber auch nur besetzt?) .

This feature is critial and a usual behaviour for others sources of calls, e.g. mobile calls or on-prem PBX, so the caller can identify whether a called party is busy, not reachable due to wrong number assignment, etc.
