Ability to Use RingCentral APP Text Templates in RingCentral for Salesforce
We would like to request an enhancement to the RingCentral for Salesforce integration that allows users to access and utilize text templates created or available in the RingCentral app directly within RingCentral for Salesforce.
Business Need / Use Case:
Currently, agents and users who rely on RingCentral for Salesforce must manually type or copy/paste recurring text responses when sending SMS messages to customers. While text templates are available in the RingCentral app, these templates are not accessible within the RingCentral for Salesforce interface.
This limitation impacts efficiency and consistency, particularly for sales and support teams that frequently use standardized messages for:
Appointment reminders
Follow-ups
Common responses to inquiries
Promotions or outreach campaigns
Requested Enhancement:
Enable RingCentral for Salesforce to:
Access and display text templates created in the RingCentral app.
Allow users to select and insert these templates directly into SMS messages sent from Salesforce.
Maintain template formatting and variables, if applicable.
