Feature Request: Support for Distinct Device Recognition Across Mobile and Desktop Apps
Summary:
Requesting enhanced device recognition so that when a user is logged in on multiple devices of the same type (e.g., multiple desktops or multiple mobile devices), the system identifies each device individually instead of grouping them as a single device type.
Current Behavior:
When a user signs in to multiple devices of the same type, the system detects them as one device.
This limits device-specific settings, notifications, and troubleshooting visibility across the mobile and desktop applications.
Requested Enhancement:
Enable the RingCentral mobile and desktop apps to recognize and register each logged-in device uniquely, even if they are of the same device type.
Provide device-level controls and management options (e.g., notifications, call handling, login tracking) for each instance.
Benefits:
