We recently discovered that standard users within our RingCentral environment are able to see the “Admin Portal” option in the top-right menu of their user interface when logged in.
Although these users do not have administrative privileges and cannot make administrative changes, the option is still visible on their screen. For clarity and to prevent confusion among end users, we would like to know if there is a way to remove or hide the Admin Portal option from appearing for standard users when they log in.
Ideally, we would like the Admin Portal link to only be visible to users who have administrative roles assigned within RingCentral.
Could you please confirm:
If this behavior is expected for standard users
Whether there is a configuration or role-based setting that allows us to hide the Admin Portal option from non-admin users
