Holiday Template
We're managing 680+ hospital sites across two tenants, and each site has its own after-hours IVR with a unique greeting that includes a local emergency hospital recommendation, plus site-specific voicemail routing. Setting holiday rules one extension at a time across that many sites isn't feasible.
What we're really looking for is something closer to how Zoom Phone handles holiday hours. Specifically:
Holiday Groups: The ability to create a named group of holidays (e.g., "2026 Company Holidays") with specific dates and hours defined once, then assign that group to multiple sites or auto-receptionist extensions in bulk. This way we define the dates once and apply them across hundreds of sites without touching each one individually.
Per-Site Call Handling on Holidays: When a holiday is active, each site still needs to route calls according to its own configuration — its own after-hours IVR greeting, its own voicemail box, etc. The holiday group just controls WHEN the after-hours routing kicks in, not WHERE calls go.
Overflow / Fallback Settings: The ability to define what happens if a call comes in during a holiday and the primary routing destination is unavailable — for example, forwarding to a voicemail or an alternate extension.
In short, we need a way to centrally manage holiday schedules at scale while still preserving each site's unique call handling. Right now the only option would be manually updating every site individually before each holiday, which isn't sustainable.
