Chinese Outbound Caller ID
Symptom
Inbound international calling from outside China using a China Caller ID: Example - When calling China from Singapore using a China Caller ID (CID) the call fails to complete and you receive a message "The number you dialed is not accepting calls at this time" or "Your number is restricted".
Outbound termination: Example - China Caller ID used for an outbound call; call will not complete--no exceptions.
Cause(Optional)
China government has regulated the use of China Caller IDs restricted for in-country use only. Calls from outside the country using a China Caller ID will fail, and outbound termination (ex: calls are routed from Singapore or Japan POP) using a China Caller ID will fail.
