Feature Description & Justification
Problem Statement:

HP Poly released VideoOS 5.0.1 as an irreversible base platform upgrade (migrating underlying architecture from Android 10 to Android 13). On VideoOS 5.x, RingCentral Rooms was removed from the native Provider selection menu, leaving affected devices unable to run RingCentral Rooms in appliance mode. Because HP Poly blocks firmware rollbacks to VideoOS 4.x, customers who updated their hardware have no native recovery path back to a supported software build.

Requested Functionality:

Add native RingCentral Rooms app support to the HP Poly VideoOS 5.x provider distribution framework (swupdate.lens.poly.com).

Deliver certified builds for Poly Studio X Series (X30, X50, X52, X70) and TC10 touch controllers running VideoOS 5.x / TCOS 7.x.

Provide an official release ETA or early access / preview build program for affected enterprise accounts.

Business Impact:

Without VideoOS 5.x platform certification, customers with updated Poly hardware must rely on tethered USB BYOD (Poly Device Mode) rather than native dedicated room appliance mode, leading to operational friction and reduced room utility.
