SMS for Call Queues is coming-- as in if a text is sent to a call queue number, there will be an inbox available for one agent to respond to those SMS.
I know the core of this request is to have a shared SMS inbox where multiple people can send and receive SMS from the inbox. Our product teams are aware of this ask, but I do not have more information about if/when this segment of the ask is coming.

Related Request: Site Admin Should Only Access Their Site's Call Log and Recordings
Significance: To avoid breech of confidentiality, it is a must to have a feature to only allow Site Admin to access call logs and recordings to where they are assigned.

The custom status also serves to know where the agent is or what they are up to so that the admin would know why they are our or could be on break or such. It is not just relevant with Messages as it is also for productivity in calls.

Feature Request : RC-50759
Details : Feature Request RingCentral UK numbers to send SMS/Text messaging. - Business SMS for UK
Significance of the feature : RC UK needs SMS to be able to use their number for text messaging and incorporating with other messaging app.
Current behavior : No SMS feature
Brand : RC UK
This option to just record internal calls will vastly be helpful, especially in those areas where call recording cannot be implemented for external customers due to some state policies. Recommended to have a switch to enable and disable internal and external calls to be recorded.
