  6. We would like to request additional automated SMS quota usage alerts to our account
    Currently, we are only receiving alerts when the usage reaches 90% and 100%.
    To manage usage more effectively and notify our team in advance, could you please enable automated alerts at the following levels as well: 50% , 75%

  7. When sending bulk SMS through RingCentral, messages to T-Mobile numbers often fail if too many are sent at once due to their rate-limiting feature. I suggest adding a scheduling feature that automatically sends messages in smaller batches. This would reduce failed messages, ensure important messages reach recipients, and improve the overall reliability of bulk SMS campaigns.

  10. Currently, E911 SMS notifications are only going through when there is a single recipient registered in the admin portal. However, when multiple recipients are added, the SMS notifications fail to send.

    Having multiple recipients for E911 SMS notifications is important because it ensures that critical emergency alerts are immediately received by more than one responsible party. This redundancy helps guarantee that someone is always notified, even if one recipient is unavailable, offline, or unable to respond. In emergency situations, timely awareness is crucial, and relying on a single contact increases the risk of delayed response.

  13. RingCentral users are frequently unable to receive one-time passwords (OTP) and account verification SMS messages from Telegram.
    This critical issue prevents users from securely registering or recovering their Telegram accounts using their dedicated RingCentral business number. The problem is generally understood to be caused by Telegram's security systems classifying RingCentral numbers as "VoIP," which blocks the delivery of the short code SMS.

  16. Currently when calling 911, our customer receive email notifications but not the SMS. it looks like we are not sending such SMS for a while due to the recent updates.

  17. Implement a feature that allows administrators to block specific phone numbers from sending SMS or MMS messages to any of our company-owned phone numbers.

    Our company receives unwanted, spam, or malicious SMS/MMS messages from external senders.
    Currently, we have no centralized way to prevent these numbers from sending future messages. This creates security, productivity, and compliance issues for employees and systems relying on SMS channels.

On the RC Phone App if you go to Messages & message an employee you have the below options, but you don’t have these options when using Text in the RC App. • You Can like the message • You can Edit the Message • You can reply with Emojis None of the above options are available when using Text on the RC Application.
