Ability to **respond** to short code SMS messages.
I use RC as my primary phone service. In many cases organizations send SMS messages from "short code" numbers. I can receive them on RC. But I can not respond. This is an important feature!

This absolutely needs to be a feature. We live in Florida and we wanted people to respond to our emergency texts during Hurricane Milton so we knew our employees were safe. And they were unable to do so. This is unacceptable.

being able to send stop to 6 digit number text messages is an important feature.
You have a new text message:

I went to as many duplicates of this idea as possible to try and get more votes here. How did 'dinosaur emojis' get implemented before this?! Unacceptable!

This is basic functionality that is missing. How is this not implemented yet?!

How can you allow incoming texts and NOT allow me to respond with STOP?
Is that even legal? -

I cannot block 75237 from sending text messages to our main phone number because when I add it to the list, RingCentral adds a "1" to the front of the number and that prevents it from matching the incoming message's number.Currently, you can add numbers of 6 digits or more but not 5 or less. Since you are supporting text messaging, you need to also support the short codes of any length. I believe the shortest length is 5 but you can research that and adjust the minimum length in your programming to support industry standards. In addition to being able to block those short codes, you also need to allow users to be able to REPLY to incoming text messages with short codes. Currently, replying "STOP" to a short code message doesn't work because you tell the user that replies to those short codes are unsupported. If you are going to provide text messaging, you need to support the ability to respond to automated messages that spawn from short codes. It allows users to "STOP" future messages as well as interact with automated messages from providers like health insurance systems, pharma systems, and other systems that do not use a full 10 digits as their text number. Thanks

Please add the ability to send outbound SMS messages to the six digit text short codes many companies use. For example, we are erroneously receiving monthly SMS bill payment reminders from Xfinity, but we cannot send the "STOP" reply message back because RingCentral currently auto-appends the default area code to the SMS 6 digit short code - Thus, creating an invalid 9 digit phone # that results in a FAILED SMS message send.Thank you.

Please add functionality that allows the user to respond to a text message sent from a short code number. When I receive a text message from a Short Code number that requires me to respond, the RingCentral application gives the following errors. Mobile App Error: "Cannot send message - Your extension had been eliminated from the department of this thread. To send a text to the department, please create a new one." Desktop App Error: "Text to this Service is Not Available" The error message from the Mobile App made no sense at all, so I tried the desktop app which is more user friendly. I tried to reply to several text messages from different short code numbers and they all failed to send.
