Rejecting Call Queues, send to VM
We have a few users. We offer the option for callers to press 1 to call everyone simultaneously so that the first available user can get the call. If any individual user rejects a call in the queue, RingCentral waits five seconds and then rings the same user again, over and over, until it goes to voicemail or the caller hangs up. Would be nice if rejecting the call took the user out of the queue for that incoming call, and if all users rejected the call, the caller would be sent to voicemail.

This can be a pain point for large organizations. Hopefully RingCentral applies resources to enhance this ASAP.

This feels like a basic functionality to any phone system I have worked on. One of several things RC missed the boat on

Is there a way to force a queue call to voice mail if the person it is ringing is in a meeting or otherwise occupied? For example…you can be in a Ring Central Meeting or Teams Meeting, and Ring Central calls still come through to you. If the caller dialed your direct extension, you have the option to push it to VM. HOWEVER-if the person called a queue that you are logged into, then you can choose to ignore it, but the system proceeds to ring you again a few seconds later, (repeatedly until the system times out to vm) which is VERY disruptive. The only option I know of to get around this is to put yourself on Do Not Disturb OR sign out of your queue, both of which run the risk of forgetting to turn that back off. Is there a way for Ring Central to be intuitive about this if your calendar is synced and you are listed as in a meeting?

There have been lots of complaints about this over the years and ring central have done nothing about it. for the full history see here:- https://community.ringcentral.com/questions/30455/clicking-ignore-call-or-declining-the-call-does-no.html

When multiple users are in a Call Queue... that we all have the ability to truly "ignore" a call when pressing the ignore button. To not have the call pop back up. AND to have the option to send a call straight to Voicemail as well.

Yes!! Why does RingCentral work this way? Very confused - I'm a new user and coming from Grasshopper. If a call is declined the agent is confirming they can't take the call.

Yes, this is very annoying for users.

We need a means to reject call queue calls. In our case, the call queue has only one member. Because of this, we have difficulty sending queue calls to voicemail because when we reject the call, it cycles back until the ring duration is exhausted. case: 11956931 for reference.
