Spam Risk Caller ID to be removed
Hello, Currently our team is being told that their phone numbers are being shown as SPAM RISK on the caller ID and we would like to remove this as it is impacting our business and sales. We were advised that Ring Central is currently unable to perform this action.

I find it absolutely incredulous that this is still being referred to as an upcoming enhancement in the Ring Central system since it was originally submitted in 2022 but since technical support in 2026 has listed this as something in the works I thought I would share with anyone who might still be listening on this chain. The following email was Ring Central's answer to this problem which essentially says "your problem, you fix it". Thank you for contacting RingCentral Technical Support.
It has come to our attention that your number is being labeled as 'Spam'. I understand the urgency of this matter for your company's productivity and would like to help you resolve the issue.

Open options for users when phone numbers are mistakenly flagged as spam, junk, fraud, or scam calls
https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Open-Options-for-Users-When-Phone-Number-is-Mistakenly-Flagged-as-Spam-Junk-Fraud-or-Scam-call-RingCentral-Contact-Center.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingCentral_Contact_Center&language=en_USHere are a few reasons a carrier may determine a lower level of trustworthiness.
1. You make a high volume of outbound calls per day per number.
2. Someone flagged a call from your number in that carrier’s app as spam or tagged it as a spam caller on the call recipient's device
3. It looks like the outbound caller ID for that number isn't set correctly in your business phone system.
4. Carriers view it as incomplete and will probably automatically flag it as spam. What can you do about it?
The FCC and major carriers realize that there are legitimate business use cases that require high call volumes (e.g., appointment reminders, alerts, etc.). As a result, you can submit a request for them to whitelist your number. You’ll have to explain your reasoning for the high call volume. Upon approval, the providers will safelist your number and prevent future blocked calls or unwanted prepended caller ID.You can use the websites below to submit your request:

We are a courthouse with courts, sheriff's offices, and numerous other offices. Each time we make a call, it shows up as "Ladue MO, spam risk" to the person we are calling. 95% of the people will not answer the call. We have been dealing with this for MONTHS. Our Commission has discussed going with a different phone system if this is not resolved.

Outbound Caller ID Reputation / Spam Risk Visibility
Problem Statement:
Customers are unaware when their outbound caller IDs (especially main company numbers) are being flagged, labeled, or blocked by downstream carriers or spam protection systems until users begin reporting failed calls.Currently, troubleshooting requires reactive carrier tracing after customer impact already occurs.
Requested Features:
Visibility into outbound CLID reputation status
Alerts when a number begins receiving elevated rejection/block rates
Carrier analytics showing repeated SIP 603/603 Decline patterns by destination carrier
Spam likelihood or attestation health indicators
Recommendations for remediation:
rotate outbound CLID
register branded calling
improve STIR/SHAKEN attestation
submit reputation remediation requests
Ability to test outbound CLID reputation across major US carriersBusiness Impact:
Reduces customer frustration
Reduces support escalations
Improves outbound answer rates
Helps enterprises protect trusted long-standing business numbers
Provides proactive rather than reactive support experience -

Here's a quick idea, how about you add "Not in Company List" to the call screening feature, so that co-workers don't have to announce their name. And do not let the call go through without the name being recorded and/or # being pressed.

We’ve been dealing with this issue for over 6 months, and it’s seriously hurting our business. Most of our RingCentral numbers show up as “Spam Risk” or “Spam Likely,” even when we are simply calling back existing customers who already requested service from us.
Customers often ignore the calls because of the spam warning, which directly affects sales and communication. We already submitted multiple spam-removal requests, but nothing has changed.
This really needs a proper solution from RingCentral.

Some of our callers have reported that our business number is appearing as “Spam” or “Spam Risk” on their caller ID, even though we are a legitimate business and have not changed our outbound calling practices. This issue is affecting call answer rates and causing confusion for clients. We are requesting assistance to review our number reputation, verify whether our outbound caller ID has been incorrectly flagged by carriers, and advise on steps to correct the spam labeling.

Our company makes calls to new potential clients daily and when our company phone numbers come in as "spam risk" it prevents those potential clients from engaging with our staff. I have been using another line, by AT&T just so when we make calls to those clients, it won't be flagged, and that is when they actually pick up, which gives us the opportunity to close. This issue is ongoing and needs to be addressed /resolved asap.

Hello,
We have been informed that one of our phone numbers is currently being labeled as “Spam Risk” on caller ID. This is a serious and urgent issue, as it is directly impacting our ability to provide customer service and connect with both prospects and existing clients.Additionally, we operate two offices in different cities and need each location to display its respective local phone number. Customers are far less likely to answer calls from out-of-town numbers—and even less likely when those calls are flagged as spam.
We were advised that this is not currently something RingCentral can accommodate. However, given that this spam labeling issue has reportedly persisted for several years, it is critical that it be addressed. We were also encouraged to vote on this topic to raise visibility with your development team.
This situation is causing immediate disruption to our operations, resulting in missed connections, reduced customer engagement, and potential revenue loss. We urgently request a resolution or a viable workaround as soon as possible.
