Show Original Callers Number in Caller ID when Transferring calls to External numbers
The ability to show originating Caller ID not just internally but also to external numbers.
Behavior: Caller dials the main number, user gets the call from a desk phone (Yealink), user transfers to an external number via Blind Transfer.

This is causing a lot of issues where we cannot locate the phone number of the person to call back. Is there really no way to fix this??

My client is extremely dissatisfied with RingCentral’s functionality. Specifically, their previous provider allowed the original caller ID to transfer when warm calls from a call queue were redirected to an external number. With RingCentral, however, the caller ID displayed is that of the call queue rather than the original caller.

This is a much needed feature as our IVR transfers to external cell phones, the receiver of the transfer thinks its coming from the office, they answer to find out its completely someone else. other VoIP providers can do this, why hasn't RingCentral figured this out yet?

This really would be helpful as our reception phone transfers calls to managers in the middle of meetings and they answer it thinking it is reception only to find it is unwanted outside sales calls and suchlike.

I would like my after hours calls, when transferred to my answering service, to show the original caller's phone number, not my phone number!

When a user makes an outbound call to an external number and then transfers that call to an internal user they would like to see the outbound number dialed as the Caller ID so their screen pops based on Caller ID work for the person the call was transferred to.
