Spam and Robo Calls
We receive at least 28 spam calls every week; please do more to stop this.

We are seeing a major increase in robo/spam. It isn't the "normal" 5-15 per day. Ours is multiple calls at the same time to the same line causing the phone to lock up. Even the ringer can't keep up. The best way I can describe ours is similar to a DDOS attack, but with maybe an auto dialer hitting some of our user's numbers. Ring Central support was not really helpful on the issue. Honestly, I do not think the support tech really understood what I meant. This is to the point that our staff can not make calls from their extension or even answer important calls because of their desk phone being locked up with the multiple bursts of spam / robo calls at once. Out of the 10 years I have been in IT, this is a first for me. Honestly, I need to record one of our phones going crazy from this. -Judging on this post being from 2022 and I am writing my comment in 2025, and Ring Central does not have a solution yet... I can confirm that this is the last straw for us with Ring Central. We are going to switch to another provider. Support is terrible, no fixes or even attempts to fix something... Very terrible. (I will post a video of our issue if I can capture it and publish to this thread)

Apparently, one can mark and block a call after deciding that the call is a robo call, but only from the desktop app. Please also make this functionality available to users of desk phones, such as the Mitel 6940w. Thanks.
