Spam and Robo Calls
We receive at least 28 spam calls every week; please do more to stop this.

We operate a Workers’ Compensation Pharmacy, and uninterrupted patient care is essential to our mission. Unfortunately, we are experiencing constant spam and robocalls throughout the day, evening, and even on weekends. These calls are not only disruptive but also consume valuable time that should be devoted to our patients.
Every unnecessary interruption delays our ability to process prescriptions, answer urgent patient questions, and provide the high level of care our patients deserve. The continuous nature of these unwanted calls has become a serious operational burden and directly impacts the efficiency and quality of care we are able to provide.
We respectfully request immediate assistance in blocking or significantly reducing these spam calls. Protecting the integrity of our phone lines is critical to ensuring patients can reach us without delay and that our staff can dedicate their time to the injured workers who rely on us.

I agree with the previous comments. I oversee over 1500 users on the RingCentral platform using regular DID numbers (no 800's). 5+ Spam/Robocalls per day per number with no effective blocking feature is ridiculous.

Since Monday, we have been receiving at least 25 spam and robocalls daily. This persistent disruption is significantly impacting our productivity. We kindly request the implementation of enhanced features or measures to effectively mitigate these unsolicited calls.

We need this feature as soon as it be made happen. We receive many spam calls daily and weekly to our main number which is not a toll free number. It's extremely annoying and really digs into our employee's efficiency.

We've been getting charged extra since Dec. 2024 due to so many spam calls. About 90% of calls are spam and many go into voicemail that eat up our allotted minutes. RingCentral has not been helpful. We are looking to switch to another provider if this doesn't get resolved asap.

We are seeing a major increase in robo/spam. It isn't the "normal" 5-15 per day. Ours is multiple calls at the same time to the same line causing the phone to lock up. Even the ringer can't keep up. The best way I can describe ours is similar to a DDOS attack, but with maybe an auto dialer hitting some of our user's numbers. Ring Central support was not really helpful on the issue. Honestly, I do not think the support tech really understood what I meant. This is to the point that our staff can not make calls from their extension or even answer important calls because of their desk phone being locked up with the multiple bursts of spam / robo calls at once. Out of the 10 years I have been in IT, this is a first for me. Honestly, I need to record one of our phones going crazy from this. -Judging on this post being from 2022 and I am writing my comment in 2025, and Ring Central does not have a solution yet... I can confirm that this is the last straw for us with Ring Central. We are going to switch to another provider. Support is terrible, no fixes or even attempts to fix something... Very terrible. (I will post a video of our issue if I can capture it and publish to this thread)

Apparently, one can mark and block a call after deciding that the call is a robo call, but only from the desktop app. Please also make this functionality available to users of desk phones, such as the Mitel 6940w. Thanks.
