He is correct. I get some shortcode texts from banks BUT annoyingly not all of them....and it's awful to not be able to respond STOP to the ones you don't want.

The real problem is that RingCentral numbers cannot respond to shortcodes. So the person that signed my company number up for political campaign ads is on my **** list because I can't 'Reply STOP to stop'

PNC Bank does not recognize our SMS line as a line they can send a text to for 2 factor authentication - the only purpose for this line is for 2 factor authentication

This is a huge failing not providing this functionality.

We need to receive verification codes from a short code, and apparently, this feature is not yet available with the newest release.

This is very important and hinders the use of a paid phone/texting/SMS features requiring staff to use personal numbers for work related matters.

C'mon RC for the price and the fact that these are desk phones (in our business situation) you need to do something about this! It's a crock of sheet that the numbers come up as voip and are blocked from OTP. I might as well get a tracPhone from Wallmart and can use mini cassette player ducked taped to a bluetooth speaker to record my calls.

Cannot receive OTP text message from eBay, however that is the only way to verify a phone number on the eBay platform

Currently using the Ring Central phone number as the contact number for our bank accounts. The numbers are not receiving the OTPs via SMS for 2 factor authentication.
