This is a must have feature. Why has this not been implemented already? We lose business everyday because people won't answer an unknown caller or we get flagged as spam and lose business. Please enable this immediately. Thanks 👍

I am struggling to understand why this issue has not been addressed, as it is critical to our business operations.
When we place outbound calls, our caller ID is displaying incorrectly. In many cases, members see our number identified as "Spam," some sort of beauty business, or with no identification at all. We are Appalachian Electric Cooperative (AEC), and we provide electric service to the Tennessee Valley. It is important that the people we contact can immediately recognize that the call is coming from us.
We have received multiple complaints from members, and many have stated that they will not answer our calls because of how the caller ID appears. This creates a poor impression of our organization and makes us appear unprofessional and disorganized.
As the supervisor of our Member Support Department, I can confirm that this is a recurring issue that impacts our team daily. More importantly, this is not simply a customer service concern. Reliable caller identification is essential for the safety of our members and our field crews, especially when we need to communicate urgent information.
I am asking that someone investigate this issue as soon as possible and provide a solution. This has become a significant operational concern for our organization.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is very important because our number shows up as Potential Spam. Many mobile phones, mine included, are set to send any number that is labeled Potential Spam straight to voicemail. This is resulting in our member/owners not receiving important phone calls. If the outbound caller ID correctly portrays where the call is coming from - AEC or Appalachian Electric Cooperative - these calls have a much better chance of being routed properly by the wireless carriers.

Members will not answer the phone because it comes up as spam or from a beauty supply. This makes it hard to get a hold of members with issues about their account. If the caller id said AEC members would answer and possibly stop a disconnection.

This is critical to our day to day operations. Our customers are not answering because the call appears to be spam. This is a significant problem for AEC. It creates longer turn around times for work that needs to be performed and longer wait times for customers trying to obtain information.

AEC is a new RingCentral customer. We were shocked to learn this seemingly basic function isn't included in our industry-leading solution.
Our constituents are reporting that our toll-free caller ID is showing as Potential Spam, Toll-Free Number, and even Beauty Pro Distributors. Our organization's name is regularly spoofed by bad actors in an attempt to collect payments from our membership. Having an incorrect caller ID on our "actual" calls exacerbates the problem.
This is a significant concern for AEC. We are looking at options other RingCentral to address the problem.

need AEC to show up on caller ID when calling customers so that they will answer and not think that it is a SPAM call.

Customers think I’m just another toll free scammer and my whole company has been built around this phone number. If I can’t get this feature of displaying my company name as the caller id with this number I’m going to have to find another service that can make it happen. Thank you, hoping this gets considered.

Numbers are now considered as spam most of the time. It's important for the company to make sure the call will be answered, and for the client to make sure they're not replying to a spam call.

Please find a way to attach an outbound caller ID on toll free phone numbers. Our company name is currently displayed as a personal contact name of an employee and does not reflect well on Ring Central.

This is a very important feature as customers are reluctant to answer calls from callers they do not recognize.

We are losing customers because they will not answer our call thinking the # is spam without a name attached. This is extremely critical.

This is critical for client to recognize our number so that they answer the calls and follow-ups from us. It will be affecting our customer service and sales if not fixed immediately.
