Resize MMS pictures to fit within 1.4mb limits
Make the desktop & mobile app automatically reduce the size, compress, or reduce resolution of images or videos to fit within the 1.4mb limitation.

It appears that you can send from a mobile device. I have been sending images that are well above the 1.4 mb max from my cell phone and the Ring Central App, but not from my desk top. So I am compressing them myself in order to be able to send them from my desk top

Also add a note stating that is has been resized. That way if detail is not clear, we can request the photo be resent via another method.

This is critical. We need to send videos via MMS but are consistently stopped due to the size of the file.

I think two things should be implemented here. First, larger file sizes should be accepted and then if they are still to large automatically reduce them.

We are in the floral industry, and customers often ask for pictures of our flowers. The exact colors of our flowers can vary slightly between seasons, growers, etc. Enough to influence changes in our customers orders. The lack of facilitating MMS messages has us shopping around for another phone service.

Your app is not really useful for the sending of MMS messages in its current state

RingCentral App doesn't make any attempt to handle those carrier restrictions.
Some of the carriers apparently lowered their size limits but RC App still on 1.5 MB Limit
Users will think that 1.5 is the limit but with other carriers it only allows 1 MB.Requesting for a feature wherein RingCentral App will automatically detect carrier MMS limit so users would be notified if the file being sent to another carrier is exceeding the limit regardless if they update their limit.

RingCentral Phone can automatically reduce file size of a picture and send SMS/MMS.RingCentral Desktop app does not have this funtion. Please add this feature, it is very convenient. We are forced to switch to RingCentral Desktop application due to RC Phone Window App unreliability.

would like to be able to send a compressed version of the photo (sort of like how it gives the option when sending an email on iOS) to reduce data consumption. As phones get more impressive cameras the file sizes go up. But data plans are still pretty expensive.. quite often we don’t need a very high quality image to convey the key points of a photo.
