Using Fax From Field in Ring Central
While creating a new fax every users gets a drop down on their ring central where they can select a number that they want to use for sending Fax .Mostly users select their own primary number but in some cases they are required to select a different number which is dedicated to the entire office for sending Faxes .If the user selects any other number other than their Primary number and sends Fax then it is also updating the Fax number under outbound calls/Fax section on Ring central Admin side.So if my Primary number is 555-555-5555 but while sending Fax…

Add fillable line in Fax menu for person's name to auto-populate in Cover Page
So far there is only the option to add phone number in the To: section of a fax. Make a fillable line to add the recipient's full name that would auto-populate in the cover page. It would be more efficient compared to making a custom cover page. Thank you

CHANGE FAX NUMBER DISPLAY FOR OUTGOING FAX
Can I remove the *101 after my phone number on the cover page? It is confusing. Secondly, for the fax, can we just say "Fax" instead of "Fax phone" and last, can we give a parenthesis for the fax area code and a hyphen between the fax number. Thank you.

Fax Icon pointed to the fax extension
Please have an option to switch from one extension to another. Add an an option to send a Fax using the Fax Extension. Clicking on the Fax Icon while logged into extension 101 should switch or point to extension 1006 in our configuration.

when sending fax from profile contacts the default number should be fax number instead of primary number
when customer goes to contacts > choose a contact > profile > fax > the phone number where fax should be sent to is the phone number under fax, currently it defaults to primary number

Composability - Fax

Needs to have all of their fax extensions to be removed from their entire company's RC app chatroom
applied a template to all fax extensions for them not to show under company directory and the default super admin account has already been changed but still, the fax extensions are still showing per client.

Send fax using the fax contact list
When I add a contact list on my RC app there's an option to add a business number and fax number. When I tried to send a fax and select the contact on my list it shows the business number instead of the fax number.

Make call queue faxes accessible in the RC app
When a call queue receives a voicemail the members of the queue are able to access the message via the RC app. When a fax is received by the queue the members are NOT able to access that message via the RC app. Could that be fixed so that all messages (whether voice or fax) to the queue are accessible via the app?Additionally, when a fax is received by the call queue, all the members are sent an email notification about the received fax. Better fax failure messages and admin tracking dashboard
Our company works with fairly large files (5-30 pages long) that must be sent to different organizations exclusively by fax. We understand that the organizations that must receive these files also serve other companies in the country so our faxes may just be hitting busy lines when we send them. Currently, the fax messages say that the transmission of the fax failed but there is no indication of how it failed. The support article for fax failures only says to check for file size, if there are special characters in the file name and to review network and firewall settings.…

Enable the downloading of Failed Outbound Faxes
Right now, there is no download feature for failed outbound faxes. The download feature was there before (not now). Please add the feature back as it is very useful for us.

Inbound Faxing with Announcement Enabled
When toggling the Play Announcement feature [ON] in Call Handling, faxes are missed due to call(s) not being sent to Voicemail. I would like to have a feature that allows Users to Play Announcement to missed calls and also allow faxes to be received on the extension. Use Case: User leaves office and wants to play announcement to Callers that they are away. Faxes are still desired, but missed if User is unaware of this feature limitation.

Company Fax Number option to enable and disable
We are a medical clinic and sometimes when we are closed for more than a week, we want to disable the fax so that messages are not received and the sender knows that their fax was not received. If we cannot do this, we have to respond to every fax and inform them we are closed, etc. It causes legal issues also if we receive a fax and do not respond.We ended up having to move my company fax to an auto-attend number instead and set that to voice only. We think that will work, as fax is not received.…
