Ability to assign Custom Fax Cover Page to all Users with Extensions (Company )
Hello, we would like to use our Custom Fax Cover page for the entire company, (users with extensions) We must provide a disclaimer on our fax cover page as we send faxes with sensitive data. Currently our only option is to assist each of our end users to use the RC App or RC Phone App walking them through adding the custom cover page, and using the application to send faxes. Custom fax coverpage upload allowable for Email faxes please!!! - HIPPA
Good afternoon,I was very happy to see that Ring Central Desktop ap fax allows me to create a custom fax cover sheet to add on all outgoing faxes processed through the desktop ap because our company is required to have a specific HIPPA statement on our fax cover sheet. However, in attempting to streamline the efficency of outbound faxing by using the email fax submmission ##########@rcfax.com and typing into the subject line, the current RC platform doesn't allow this same custom coverpage to be uploaded into the default outgoing fax settings area. Allow outbound fax cover sheets to be updated
When you send outbound faxes to someone, you can't specify a person, company, subject, or any of the outbound variables in the cover letter using the Ring Central Application.

Disable Voicemail - Enable Faxing
Currently extensions are required to take voicemails & faxes as all or none. Our customer would like to have the option to take no voicemails, but still receive faxes.Is it possible to enable faxing only and no voicemail? Rather than disabling the mailbox entirely?

Add fillable line in Fax menu for person's name to auto-populate in Cover Page
So far there is only the option to add phone number in the To: section of a fax. Make a fillable line to add the recipient's full name that would auto-populate in the cover page. It would be more efficient compared to making a custom cover page. Thank you

Inbound Faxing with Announcement Enabled
When toggling the Play Announcement feature [ON] in Call Handling, faxes are missed due to call(s) not being sent to Voicemail. I would like to have a feature that allows Users to Play Announcement to missed calls and also allow faxes to be received on the extension. Use Case: User leaves office and wants to play announcement to Callers that they are away. Faxes are still desired, but missed if User is unaware of this feature limitation.

Composability - Fax

Feature Request: Show outgoing fax number for every user
At the moment only the main fax sender/recipient will display the company fax number on outgoing fax messages. For every other user that sends a fax, the main phone number will be displayed instead of a fax number.This is an essential feature for companies with multiple fax users, especially where a fax response is needed.

Fill in Fax without making a contact
We fax to many companies and lenders that are NOT contacts. We would like the ability to fill in the fax cover sheet manually, not make a contact first. That is very time consuming and not a good use of time.

Group Owned Inbound Fax Only Phone Numbers
Currently my company has approx 10 inbound Fax Numbers assigned to different Groups / Teams in the company. When a fax is received on one of those extensions, I then need to distribute the fax to a list of emails.The way I have managed to mostly configure this in RC is to create a message only extension that I add the "Fax Number" to. Fax confirmation PDF in RingCentral on fax page dashboard -not just in email.
We are using E-FAX for clinical records in our medication room. Our Med techs do not have email so they can't receive the fax confirmation page so a manager has to get the email and then save it for them.

Better fax failure messages and admin tracking dashboard
Our company works with fairly large files (5-30 pages long) that must be sent to different organizations exclusively by fax. We understand that the organizations that must receive these files also serve other companies in the country so our faxes may just be hitting busy lines when we send them. Currently, the fax messages say that the transmission of the fax failed but there is no indication of how it failed. The support article for fax failures only says to check for file size, if there are special characters in the file name and to review network and firewall settings.…

Automatically print fax from RC Unified App.
I would like to be able to print automatically from the RingCentral Unified App. This is possible in the RC Phone Desktop App, but not in the RC Unified App.

Ability to receive fax, even when "Take Messages" feature is disabled for the user OR if user's IP Phone status is "Offline"
Customer does not want voicemail enabled for certain users, but still wants to receive inbound faxes. Disabling the "Take Messages" feature under the User Settings within RCO will also disable the ability to receive any inbound faxes to the User's dedicated phone number. In the Call Log, it also makes mention that the fax may be rejected due an IP Phone being in "Offline" status. What is the user was strictly a softphone user and did not have their softphone launched in the middle of the night, but expected to receive any inbound fax to their number?!

Custom Fax Cover Pages (as is available in RC Phone)
The RingCentral Phone app provides the ability to upload a custom fax cover page, which we use to include our company logo along with some instructions and a disclaimer. Please consider adding this feature to the new RingCentral app.

RC App Faxing - need ability to add info in To, Company and Phone fields
When sending a fax through the RC app there is only an option for the sender's fax number, cover page, note and attachment. There isn't an option for the recipient's To, Company and Phone. If you want to add this info you need to add it to the Notes section at the bottom of the cover page which doesn't look as professional.

Wanted to receive FAX email notifications for faxes sent to an ATA device (in addition to printing)
Currently functionality is limited to either receiving faxes via email notification attachment OR have them print physically by using a custom rule workaround to apply unconditional forwarding. We would like to have our business critical faxes in both physical printed form and digital dissemination at the time they are received.
