  1. It would be helpful if Ring Central users in NYC are able to dial 311 this is a city general information number. At the moment we are not able to connect to this number when we dial it.

  2. when a number is in the process of porting, we are not able to forward to that number because the system sees it as a RingCentral number but it is not because it hasn't ported. We sometimes need to forward to a line which hasn't ported yet and can't. Please correct this. Thanks

  4. From a law firm:

    For the past month
    they are unable to receive calls from jail
    - The call would come in and when they press 1 to accept the call
    - they would hear a prompt error message that says: RingCentral does not support incoming calls from Prison

    • as of the moment - No Resolution is available - even if we enable call screening we cannot customize the announcement or prompt our vendor does not support incoming calls from Prison

  6. Kim wants to route the calls to her extension 102 then if she will not be able to answer route it to IVR If customer choose dial by name directory and selected her name it should route the call to her extension again then route to voicemail if she will not be able to answer the call.

  7. The client has RingEx Essential plan, and got really frustrated that they cannot see the caller ID of their callers. Mentioned that it would be better to add the feature even on the lower plans.

  8. When an organization uses their main number as the fax caller ID or fax number as the sender, it would be beneficial if we could change the name from the default main super admin user. We had a ticket come in from a customer that was confused as to why a user who no longer works there is showing as the "From" user on faxes.

  9. SFDC Plug in doesn't warn the users, if their customers hang up the phone. In RC app users receive a dial tone/ring tone when the other party hangs up, can this be also added to SFDC plug in?

  14. Customer would like to have a pop up window, if there is a message beiong received. This is to notify the user that they have a message and will notice the message right away as per the CEO wants this feature.

In Shoretel 14.2 and Shoretel Connect there used to be a scenario when a voicemail was not answered in so much time, it would escalate to another user (either emailing or dialing the user and saying "there is an unanswered message" or something like that. There was a ton of flexibility (probably more than needed as setting it up was sort of tedious) and you could control all the times, etc. It was handy for afterhours solutions, or if a manager wanted to keep an eye on voicemails, etc. Shoretel used to allow (and I mention them as I believe…

  20. When having a second call comes through while I am on my desk phone with a client, the second incoming call does not make any alert sounds/beeps/rings. It only notifies on the desk phone that there is an incoming call. It would be nice to have the desk phone beep or ring while I am on the other line to notify that a second caller is calling.
