  1. Currently, while on a call other incoming calls will ring, can be heard by all parties, and must be rejected. An option to turn on DND whenever a call is taking place would eliminate this distraction.

  2. We run multiple business endeavors between my wife and I and we would find it helpful if we could log into multiple "phones" at the same time, similar to how multiple e-mail addresses can be accessed from a single email client. This would allow us to be able to "switch phones" right in the app, so that when I'm done with a call for my business, I can return a call from my wife's business without having to log out and log back in again.

  3. Would love a user option that allows the on off of dynamically enabling Do No Disturb mode anytime user is in a RC meeting. No one really wants to hear phone calls come in when hosting or talking in a meeting. It is too difficult to toggle on off this mode manually every time a user enters and then is done with a meeting. But all my users agree they would like a feature that auto puts them in DND when they are in a meeting for them.

  4. Remove the missed call notification for queue members when another queue member answers the call. Only display missed call notification when no one in the queue answers the call.

  5. Please provide the ability to record more than one VM greeting, ex. Standard, Out-of-Office, and Extended Absence Greetings and then the option to select each as needed. Currently, I set a Standard VM greeting but when I am out-of-the-office, I have to record a different greeting which overwrites my Standard, and then I have to re-record that when I'm back in the office, and the cycle continues. This request benefits anyone who uses Voicemail.

  6. Be able to leave a pre-recorded voicemail as soon as you hear a "beep" and move on to your next call. In other words, make outbound call and instead of waiting for someone to pick; drop an automated or prerecorded message for the second party to call you back, while you move on to your next dial up call.

  7. Today you are required to use the RC app to put all of your devices into DND. Users should be able to press the DND button on the physical endpoint and that status should sync over to the other physical devices or softphones that are assigned to that user. This would make it much easier from an end-user perspective, especially those that don't want to bring up the app to enable DND.

  8. There should be an ability to have call waiting for queue calls as using an IVR with set queues is the easiest way of having an overall system and using simultaneous rings for the same phone number that's a direct line vs using a queue for the IVR is a laborious set up process and tends to complicate a phone system for businesses and the customers.

Hello all, wanted to share this video with you, to see if it matches your needs! It’s only a minute long, but note that there is no audio. In this video, a call queue member “SZ” receives and answers a call from the Test 1 call queue. After about 10-15 seconds, you’ll see a call pop-up in the Call Queue Pickup section of the HUD. This is a 2nd call that “SZ” then answers from Test 1 call queue, which puts the first call on hold.If this meets your needs, please let us know. We have also included the KB article.https://www.loom.com/share/59599e5b02a14bb6a84fcf02560a2c68 https://support.ringcentral.com/article-v2/Set-up-Call-Queue-Pickup-Group.html?brand=RC_US&product=RingCentral_MVP&language=en_US
  9. Allow Blocking to outbound numbers for things like do not call lists. This should be able to be done by role, individual extension, and account-wide.

  10. Currently, if you are on a Call Queue call you can receive a personal (direct) call at the same time and can switch to that call, reject it, etc. We have some smaller call queues where it would be beneficial for one person to be able to pick up multiple calls at a time. E.g. They're on a call queue call, see that another is ringing, and they put the original call on hold and tell the second caller that they'll be with them shortly (etc).Clearly, this would not be suitable in every instance but having the option would be…

Check out https://support.ringcentral.com/article/Set-up-Call-Queue-Pickup-Group.html for how to set up call queue pickup groups. When pickup members are also call queue agents, they can pick up multiple queue calls concurrently. The Call Queue Pickup feature allows any call queue pickup member to answer multiple queue calls concurrently. Here is a presentation showing all of the setup details and supported use cases and call flows. Please let us know if you have any questions. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1H1gaxrrboXCSjvifzIw8rRYGkHdQENN_oOu9W6P_4To/edit?usp=sharingThank you for providing additional feedback on your use cases. We've changed the status back to under review from implemented.

  12. Currently, the app rings at the same time as the desk phone. You set the desk phone to sequentially ring after the app but not before. I prefer the desk phone to ring first for a couple of rings, then the app on my cell phone would be called.

  14. We have a few users. We offer the option for callers to press 1 to call everyone simultaneously so that the first available user can get the call. If any individual user rejects a call in the queue, RingCentral waits five seconds and then rings the same user again, over and over, until it goes to voicemail or the caller hangs up. Would be nice if rejecting the call took the user out of the queue for that incoming call, and if all users rejected the call, the caller would be sent to voicemail.

  15. Imagine a world where you can click on one of your nearly infinite voicemails, then hitting ctrl-a (or just clicking on the 'select all' button). Now you've got like 1,245 voicemails from jealous ex's, desperate vendors, and unrequited direct supervisors. They are all selected. Now absolve yourself from the weight of these disconnected communication attempts, tugging on the last threads of your sanity. When you select all, you don't even need to see who is calling. Just delete that BS. Get it gone from your life. Catharsis in a button. Bonus points for the developer that adds a toilet flushing sound…

  16. Why is a holiday/night "button" not available in the RingCentral universe? This has been a feature of traditional PBXs for DECADES. There needs to be a way that Holiday/Office Closed greeting and menus are simply activated, and a selection of several menus should be available. Not all businesses have regular hours, and circumstances sometimes dictate that the office is closed. Snowstorm? Fire across the street? My client's 20+ year old Toshiba PBX had a simple way to do this. Last person out would activate it OR it could be activated remotely through the voice menus.

  17. It would be nice to be able to have a contact list that is available to all employees so that when a customer calls, their information shows on the screen or so that when an employee would like to call a customer, they have access to their contact information. It seems the work-around for it right now is for the person that creates the contact to either export that contact and send it to all employees for them to import or email the contact info to all employees. Instead, it would be much easier to have a central database of…

  19. We have 44 offices in 5 states. Each state has a different District Manager. Currently anyone we add to get a 911 alert, gets the 911 alert regardless of which state the 911 call was made from. It would be helpful if we could say "If someone from these 10 numbers calls 911, alert this person" and do that for all 190 lines so the district managers could be notified of emergencies in their territories, rather than being alerted for all territories even if it's not theirs.

  20. The HUD feature in the desktop app is extremely useful. I'm hoping you'll be able to incorporate this feature into the iOS mobile app as well. That way, I'll be able to check incoming calls while on an active call, and I'll know who to call back just in case that call goes unanswered by my team members.
