Summer 2024 has come and gone, still no feature for separate ringing of desktop and mobile apps.

I want the option to use the RingCentral desktop app, but I want to disable all desktop call handling features. I use my desk phone and also my mobile phone app all the time, but I will never use my desktop app to make or take calls.
Please make a toggle switch on/off for each device. :)

It’s past summer of 2024 now. Is this feature still coming?

Ok- It's Summer of 2024 now. When is this being released?

This is a must! Having both desktop and mobile apps ring together is incredibly annoying when I'm at my desk.

I want to vote for this request! This is critical to our company. We have an integration with HubSpot and we have 3 pop ups that come in for incoming calls. This is so confusing to our staff.

Is this what's coming Summer 2024? The option for the following:
PLEASE create an option to ring to the desktop app prior to the mobile app. Not only is it annoying to have multiple devices ringing, it can create issues with multi-point bluetooth headsets.I see this feature requested again and again in the community forum (going back 5+ years at this point...) and yet it has not been implemented. There is clearly demand for this basic addition - how many more people need to ask before it is prioritized?

When we are in a meeting, we of course do not want interruption and calls should not have pop up, but we would want to see who's calling in on my phone!

Adding to this is the ability to enable and disable notifications for "Incoming Calls" which is already available on the RingCentral Desktop app but is not found on the Mobile App.

We have users that are working at their desk using the RC app/Teams and mobile app installed on their phones. It is quite distracting when they have an incoming call and their RC app and mobile app rings at the same time. We would like a feature that you can turn on just ring RC app or Mobile app or Ring together. They do not want the order because sometimes, they will step away from their phone and would like to quickly switch ring mobile app as their primary softphone.

Customer want RingCentral Desktop App and RingCentral mobile app in call forwarding to be separate in call forwarding settings. That will also give option to toggle them off and on separately.

It would be better if Ring Central had a Call Handling option to only ring Desktop, instead of Desktop and Mobile app

In Call Handling Settings, I find that I cannot move the entry "Desktop and mobile apps" in between two entries for phone numbers. Please allow this. Example of use. I want my "Existing Phone" to ring first because If I am in the office I can pick the call immediately. If I am working from home however, I want my desktop app to ring next. Lastly, I want my mobile phone to ring if I didn't pick up from the other two devices.

Separate the Desktop app and Mobile app from incoming calls so that only one rings at a time, so my phone isn't ringing while I'm at my desk, and can arrange them in an order so If I don't respond after 4 or so rings, it goes to my phone in case I've stepped away from my desk for a minute.

Currently Option #1 under Call Handling is "Desktop and mobile apps." I have two issues with this:It combines two different devices. It is "anchored" as Option 1 and cannot be moved down.More details:I want to be able to have different settings for Desktop app vs. mobile app. I don't like having these two combined with no way to separate them. Most of our users operate in an "old school" way: they have a desk telephone. It's where they want to answer the phone. We don't typically have our PCs set up for using them as telephones (i.e. using the Desktop app), so ringing there is no good.... the popups just get in the way.My desired functionality is this:I want my desk phone to ring 4 times. If I haven't answered by the 4th ring then ring a few times on the mobile phone's app. After that the call should go to voicemail. At NO TIME do I want it to "ring" on my computer (i.e. my Desktop app).I don't think I have any way to configure my incoming call settings this way currently. This is similar to CUSTCOM-I-1210, but I had trouble commenting on that item.

When I am in the office near my desk phone, I do not need my cell phone or app to Ring. It is tedious to turn the notifications on and off on these other devices.

GoToConnect can do this. Right now we're stuck with call forwarding to our cell phone number, which means we have to choose either our work number for the Caller ID to know an inbound call is work-related but not see who's calling, or pass-through caller ID to see the number that's calling but not whether it's work-related.I don't like having my phone vibrate in my pocket every time I get a call in on my computer - being bombarded with the dual notification (and not knowing if it's RC or something else notifying me at the same time) just because I'm getting an inbound call. It's confusing and stressful. However, having calls ring through to the mobile app would be helpful so that I don't miss something while I'm away from my desk. Allowing the apps to ring sequentially would make it so that I can both know it's a work call (coming in on the app) and who's calling, without the aforementioned mess.Thanks!-Spencer

We would like to turn off the desktop or mobile app when in the office and allow justr the physical phone to receive calls. at other times we may only want the mobile app to receive calls.
