This is a new verification feature of many banks and financial institutions. Not being able to respond to short code sms messages is critical. We are seriously evaluating leaving RC because if it.

There is a huge need to be able to opt-out of SMS solicitations as well to respond "yes" or "no" for other features such as tracking.

This absolutely needs to be a feature. We live in Florida and we wanted people to respond to our emergency texts during Hurricane Milton so we knew our employees were safe. And they were unable to do so. This is unacceptable.

I went to as many duplicates of this idea as possible to try and get more votes here. How did 'dinosaur emojis' get implemented before this?! Unacceptable!

This is basic functionality that is missing. How is this not implemented yet?!

How can you allow incoming texts and NOT allow me to respond with STOP?
Is that even legal?

When will you be able to send text messages to short codes as they are getting increasingly popular and used by many businesses. I would like to be able to respond to another businesses short code especially when that is offered.

Banking and other account verification is done through short code texts, and currently RC doesn't have functionality to reply to those texts.
