It's essential - very few businesses operate without SMS/WhatsApp capabilities. Means currently we're behind the curve so we're now investigating alternative providers who can provide this functionality. I note this was originally posted 4 years ago which suggests it isn't going to be delivered...

This is essential, especially for my out of hours team to update affected customers in the middle of the night who would prefer not to have the phone ringing and waking their families to update when things have been resolved but via text message which is less intrusive. We require to have these recorded from a time logging perspective also which is why important to have within the central ring central phone platform. Unsure what the restriction is and why only US and Canada when text is a world wide option for many - please look to get this implemented ASAP. Thanks.

This is an essential feature for our helpline. We will need to move to another provider if we cannot communicate with clients across SMS.

we took our ring central with the promise SMS for the UK was coming in the near future. this is still not the case 3 years down the lime. We integrated with our CRM and built our whole system around the false promise of this.

When we integrated call system with our CRM , then it was not explained to us that SMS in UK are not available.

SMS in Uk is very much required. Our ZOHO CRM is integrated for calls but most of the times when customer is not resent , we want to send SMS about our purpose of call and our services. Voice mail is most of the times not heard

This limitation for UK customers was never explained to me during the migration frm Mitel. If I had known our UK site would not be allowed use SMS I would have gone to a new provider. This feature is included in all our licences so why are our UK employees not allowed use it.

There's already the text option within your app, so why not make it work?I have tested with the Danish number, and I wasn't able to see the SMS in the app. You can always charge more for the functionality, and please don't just make it NA numbers for NA only, or EMEA for EMEA numbers only. It's a big world, and we all need to communicate over borders.

Since most of our client coordination is on text, getting the UK number wasn't of much use.Hoping to get SMS feature added to UK numbers soon.
