Auto reply that number is disabled for SMS
Currently, there is no auto-reply to the sender if the RingCentral number they are sending a text to is disabled for SMS.I am requesting to have a system-generated reply to a sender if the RC number they are sending a text to is disabled for SMS.

This is a critical feature and a must have in our current environment texting is how most people prefer to communicate and not having an auto reply greatly limits our ability to service existing clients and prospective clients.

It would be of extreme importance that a reply be sent to individuals sending a SMS so that they are aware it is not received. Because people have been used to sending SMS messages, many of which are time-sensitive and urgent, we would suffer negative consequences.

The customer wanted to send an auto reply to their clients saying that they do not have the SMS feature so they will not send SMS to them anymore. This is for their Compliance
