Ability to Schedule Text Messages
For offices that use Ring Central for scheduling customers/confirming appointments, it would be great to be able to write out a text and have it scheduled to send on x day at x time. For example, if I wanted to tell Susan that her vet appointment is scheduled for 2:00pm on Wednesday, then I want it to send a prewritten text on Monday so that she can respond to confirm the appointment. It can help save time if you have extra time on a weekend to write out everything and then they're all scheduled to send when you don't have as much free time.

Since 2019 people have been asking for this, and nothing has been done. Even the simplest message apps provide the possibility of scheduling a message to be sent later.

Yes! Reminders about meetings! I can also work at night and schedule for the next day as not to disturb others after hours.

We work in a business where we schedule out many appointments with Clients. They are constantly changing daily. With our old system, we could submit an CSV file with the name of the client and the date and time of their appointment. Then it would automatically send out text messages. We want something that we can set up a message that works with the CSV file and automatic response to what the client texts back. Example:Automated text out "Hello client, your appointment is at 9:00 am on 2/2/2023. Please respond Y to confirm and N to reschedule." Incoming Text "Y" Automated outgoing text "Thank you for confirming your appointment!" Also, a way to track the type of responses, whether it be a confirm or reschedule or cancel. Thank you!

Similar to Slack & Teams, the ability to send a message at a later date. This can help when setting up a message out of office hours, or when travelling with spotty reception.

We should be able to send automated scheduled text to our customers. Example, If I have a delivery service business I should be able to send auto scheduled text to the customers who are on my route.

It would be very useful to be able to schedule outgoing texts to clients. I will sometimes want to respond after hours or weekends but want to keep communication/ contact to business hours. If I text on a weekend or after hours they will respond during those times, which I dont want. Also, I can schedule reminder texts for things as they come to mind.

It would be very helpful to my business to be able to schedule when a text message will be sent out at a later time. I vote yes for this. I could not find the vote button. This is the only option that opened up to me to vote for this idea. And I definitely wanted to get my vote in.

This would be HELPFUL if RingCentral could send out in Advance automated messages to employees,customer,clients,patients etc as a reminder of their appointments, or anything that is coming up or there's a dead line to. This future would be very helpful so an employee could have in mind that there's a dead line to a certain task. Also it would be benefitial for for customer service for clients to know that their appoinment is coming up and be able to Schelude their daily life needs to be able to make it to the appointment or whatever the reminder might be

my android phone has the ability to send out scheduled text messages for future dates.. I would LOVE to do this with my ring central phone number,, to send customer Happy Birthday wishes... or special days..(Christmas.. Easter.. New Years) I was told a long time ago that this was something that Ring Central was working on and would LOVE to use this service!

In my business, when I'm hired folks will have important dates many months out. I'd like to be able to set up a bunch of future text messages that automatically go out. Say I get a client who we're going to meet again a month from now, I'd like to set up a text reminder for the day before the meeting, or the morning of the meeting, months in advance

We would love to be able to send automated appointment reminders to our patients via text. Perhaps we could upload our appointment lists daily, and RingCentral could send the reminder texts on our behalf?

It would be helpful to schedule text messages. This would allow us to send reminders for upcoming appointments. It would allow clients to cancel within 24 hours, and it would help professionals maintain productivity standards.

In prior texting software applications, I found the feature to schedule texts to be extremely helpful especially if it was needed before or after office hours. This way you can set it to go and have one more thing checked off your to-do list.

As user I want to be able to schedule messages. So that I could send messages with delay or at exact time. For example when it's late evening and I want to send a message - to schedule it to morning - not to disturb anyone or by some another reason
