Yes! Please allow us to select multiple user extensions for co-recipients of faxes the same way call queue's allow shared voicemail, plus the ability to track sent faxes too of course.

For HIPAA compliance, we are trying to keep faxes out of email. We'd like to have the ability for our company fax number to allow co-recipients so all five receptionists can check on company faxes throughout the day and forward (within RC) to the end user. Then end user can download the fax. This keeps it out of email.

Shared fax will be a great help in our department.

Need to have multiple users miles apart have access to company faxes in this rural situation where fax is still a thing. From a man-machine point of view we are working in the inverse of the original fax scenario. A single fax machine in or near an office of multiple people who with immediate physical access, shared the one machine with ease.
Now we live in the virtual world with still one fax number, but access to the "machine" in a single location is impossible. We need to bring all to a "virtual" location by being able to share a company level fax service among multiple people, so as to get back to a shared facility with multiple user coverage.
In our case we were using the new RingCentral app for individuals and using the old RS app for multiple people in disparate locations to monitor fax traffic. Now we are forced to use the web app for faxes and the new app for individual traffic. With both of these overstuffed apps on screen, you are chewing up too much screen real-estate and folks aren't able to effectively use either. Altogether bad!. We need an integrated shared fax solution on just one overstuffed app.
I hate cobbled together solutions from one of our core services. Fix this mess.

Why wouldn't this be already available?

Two existing customers have requested this exact feature (similar to the newly released Shared SMS Inbox feature). RingCentral competitors provide this functionality today.

Our current system allowed for this type of distribution. We moved to RingCentral in hopes that we were evolving not going backwards. So this would be super beneficial to our practice.

For years people have been asking for this very basic feature, but RingCentral does not care about providing this very basic feature. We will be changing providers very soon.

Medica (healthcare) asked about this and has it today with their RightFax implementation - and needs it to be secure instead of email.

As Patrick mentioned, it is not secure to receive faxes by email. Having a shared fax inbox on the phone and desktop RC apps would be great.

Shared fax feature. Allow faxes to be shared across the extensions and should be viewable on their RC App like the co-recipient of Voicemail.

This is helpful for extensions that should not have voicemail messages and can still view faxes sent to other extensions.
