  2. Currently, when call forwarding is enabled for EX User extensions, the forwarding logic does not distinguish between voice and fax calls. When a call terminates directly to a User extension, the system can differentiate between fax and voice calls and handle them accordingly. However, when forwarding is enabled, both fax and voice calls are forwarded indiscriminately, causing fax calls to be treated as voice calls.

  3. Description: When sending faxes and the result/status is showing in the log as "unknown" the receiving fax is actually receiving the fax 3 times. Is there any way to disable this automatic resending so that faxes are only resent at our discretion and not automatically?

  5. Description of Request:
    Currently, Robocall or spam protection is applied together for both phone calls and faxes. This prevents administrators from customizing blocking behavior separately for fax and phone lines. Customers want the ability to enable or disable Robocall protection independently for voice calls and faxes.

    Business Impact:
    Some organizations rely on fax communication and do not want legitimate faxes blocked while still using Robocall protection for voice calls. Without separate controls, important faxes may be blocked unnecessarily, causing operational delays and missed communications.

  6. Product Area: Admin Portal – Fax Management / Security

    Description of Request:
    Currently, when inbound faxes are blocked by the Robocall or spam protection feature, there is no visibility in the Admin Portal indicating that a fax attempt was blocked. Administrators are unable to confirm whether a missing fax was rejected due to Robocall filtering or another reason.

    Business Impact:

  9. Occasionally a fax will fail to send. When that happens it would great if we could tap on the sent fax in the app (iOS) and highlight and select the text located in the 'comments'. That way we could paste this verbiage and try communicating it to the recipient by other means without having to type it all out again.

  10. Please add an option to skip contact selection when a fax number matches multiple entries. Currently, we are forced to pick a name, which auto-fills the cover page incorrectly. We need the ability to simply enter a fax number and proceed so the cover page remains generic or unaddressed to a specific individual.

Our company have several numbers with Mobile licenses that appear in RingCentral Portal account but are not accessible as an option to be selected as a "Fax" number for individual user accounts. It would be great to be able to select any number that appears in our RingCentral Portal account to be a fax number.

  14. The Admin is requesting a feature that would allow admins to schedule monthly fax log reports for the previous month and have them automatically sent out. The requested functionality should include the ability to select specific users to be included in the report, rather than generating logs for all users. Additionally, the customer would like the option to filter these reports by Site or Department, which is not currently possible in the Admin Portal.   16. Currently, the date/time stamp on a fax is from when it is sent. We need the date/time stamp to reflect when the fax was received by the recipient.

  17. For the fax transmission email result subject line, please add the timestamp of the fax. This would help make the transmission result unique to avoid the Google integration issue. Google integration is grouping all of my notifications into a single thread based on the subject line.
