Enable Transfer to Voicemail even when Extension is set up to forward call or play announcement If no one answers
We'd like to be able to set up our user extensions to ring back to the receptionist team rather than go to voicemail by default, such as when on DND, are on another call, or for any reason can't answer.
Right now we can do this by setting "If no one answers" to "Forward the call" back to reception.

Random Starting Point for music on hold
Music on hold tracks always play from the beginning. A common caller will only hear the same beginning piece of a MoH track. If the MoH track includes any type of marketing speech, only playing the beginning in repetition only makes this pointless.
Having an option to start the MoH track at some random point - different for each call - will ensure that marketing material in the MoH track will be presented to callers on hold instead of only the first few seconds of the track repeated in perpetuity.2 votes -

Generate unique passcode via API
There should be an API call to allow a unique code to be generated in RingCentral that can be displayed on our website to certain logged in customers. When a customer calls our phone number and selects a certain extension, this code will be required as a password. The code should be viable for, say 5 mins.

Allow multiple participants in conference call using Mitel phone
With MITEL, was able to do conference call with multiple people that allows more than 3 participants. When switched to RingCentral, can only do up to 3 people including the initiator. With RingCentral, call the first person, hit conference button, dial the second person, then hit the conference button again to join. Then, after this conference button disappears and there is even no option to add more person in the call.

allow for the volume to be adjusted on a custom greeting upload, mp3 or .wav file.
When you upload a mp3 or wav file for a custom voicemail or greeting the volume is obnoxiously loud. There is no way in the application or on the portal to adjust this. I contacted support today and they said this was already in the feature requests but could not find it. The ability to upload a custom greeting/voicemail file is great but, if the sound is as high as it comes across it causes distortion and just sound bad.

Bring the Dial Pad back on the right side of the app
Remove the dial pad from the column next to the Calls and Voicemail tabs. It is more convenient to have the dial pad on the right side so we can easily dial a number from the call history. Or have the option to have the dial pad be dragged on the right side like how it used to.
