On the RC Phone app when you want to find someone in the directory listing of the HUD, it doesn't filter as you type.If they are on a call and click the park line, all they get is a single file list of all employees and park locations which they have to scroll through without the ability to search/filter. That's a horrible experience. Please implement this asap.

  3. I. have a main office number and a secondary number. I'd like to use the secondary number to communicate with my staff and would like to know if there's a good way to separate those texts received to the main number from the ones received to the secondary number in the app

  4. have a setting yet on the app or on the admin portal that can silent the audio of incoming calls that only comes from the call queue. Having the agility of not hearing the ringtone all the time when a call is from the call queue

  6. HiPlease can we add the ability to hide the Hide Main Company Number. This number is not used within the organisation and causes a great deal of confusion for our users when this number is inadvertently selected.We need to keep the ability to change outbound identity - and it seems strange that RC do not allow us to hide what appears to be a legacy feature.Thanks for your consideration.

  8. Many employees in the modern workforce are traveling or moving around working on their Mobile but STILL want their team to know they are ONLINE / Available to be reached. Currently if you are working on the RC MOBILE APP, if you simply move to a different app (like taking a call or email) if instantly shows your Presence dot as Offline: A gray dot.   9. I would like to see the option to make all users/extensions being capable of sending text/sms from the same designated phone number. Example main company line and not just the admin. Don't want to have to give out my log in and password credentials.

  10. I manage 3 different Ring Central phone numbers. Would you folks make the phone number that is active inside my desktop phone application Highly Visible at all times when I am in the desktop application? Maybe in the blue ribbon at the top.

Allow users to configure an exclusion of certain audio or video devices or even more desirable, allow to us to configure if a certain device is present automatically set it as my audio and video device. Also it would be great if the selection within one function of the desktop app applied on all functions (i.e. if I set the audio/video device in a RCM session, also apply that to my 'phone' settings.The biggest win would be to autodetect that a preferred audio device is present and automatically put as the device for all functions in the app.Where this can…

  13. Currently - our users follow the below workflow for signing into RingCentral Glip:

    1 - User signs into IDP
    2 - User navigates to: https://app.ringcentral.com
    3 - User selects "Sign in"
    4 - User selects "Single Sign-on"
    5 - User enters company email
    6 - RingCentral grabs user identity from IDP & signs them into app

    Ideally, I would like to skip steps 3-5 (i.e. pass the user's email as a parameter in a login request, or hit a custom tenant url which performs an automatic metadata lookup)

Currently call abruptly drops when call merge originator disconnects.   16. On a desk phone, it is possible to change the settings to see what number was called if a user has multiple extensions forwarded to them. There seems to be no such feature on the mobile app. It would be quite useful if that feature can be implemented.

  18. In New RC, it appears there is not a way to duplicate / copy a team. This feature is widely and heavily used within our org. We have a template team with members and tasks for each project, and this team is duplicated every time a new project lands. This is used a significant number of times a day/week, and incredibly critical to our org. needs.Without this feature, the RC app is very useless to us in terms of internal project and time management.

Scenario:Initiate a call from the desktop phone.Flip the call to the mobile app.Flip the call back to the desk phone.The mobile app no longer recognizes that there is an active call and does not offer the "switch the call to this device" option. Close and re-open the mobile app.The mobile once again recognizes that there is an active call and offers the "switch the call to this device" option. The mobile app should be updated to always recognize the active call on the extension, without the need to close and re-open it.
