  1. The RC Phone app allowed the plantonics on headset controls to work properly. For example, when I pressed the button on the headset to answer or hang up the call the RC Phone app responded. The RC App (new unified app) does not respond to these buttons making it more difficult to operated with the app.

  2. Allow a dropdown on the Phone icon in the app, to choose with line to call that is tied to the user's profile. Currently, if we wish to dial the Mobile Phone on the account, it takes several additional/complex clicks to get there.

  4. RC features requires an extensive list of servers that the endpoint need to be able to reach to work properly. It would be easier to troubleshoot network connectivity related problems if there was an inbuilt connectivity status check tool or a separate app which we could download to check on the end users device. It would be easier than checking each IP individually for possible restrictions in the gateway device or the device itself.

I would like to see the supported headset list here https://support.ringcentral.com/article/Recommended-Headsets-and-Speakers.html?language=en_US updated to include the Poly Voyager Focus 2 (https://www.poly.com/us/en/products/headsets/voyager/voyager-focus-2) headset which is an updated version of the currently supported Poly Voyager Focus UC.

  6. It would greatly improve productivity to have a group video call feature like Slack does. We found that extremely helpful but would like to stay on one platform opposed to two.

  7. This feature is offered by other carriers. MY client wanted to better identify and sort his contacts that he communicates with via SMS, in the app. This could be similar the way you can sort and create groups in the messages part of the app, for use purposes, but does not require the receiver to get a RC app account (GLIP?). It would take very little coding to implement, and has a wide variety of use cases that would be enjoyed by many users.

  8. The new RingCentral Video does not support filtering Meetings to only those I'm hosting. The RingCentral Meetings does support this. This makes finding my meetings simple and should be available with RingCentral Video.

Currently, the Jump To Latest pop-up button appears if you scroll back numerous messages - when the scroll bar is about halfway up the page, from what I can tell.Instead it should appear as soon as there is just ONE message hidden below the fold. That way if new messages come in and the scroll bar is only slightly scrolled up, the user can easily tell that there are new messages.I've been missing new messages in teams I'm looking at in New RC because of this. The scroll bar will become locked, but it also disappears until you hover over…

  11. If you go back to edit a prior comment and press Home key to go to the beginning of the comment, the whole page moves, sometimes preventing you from seeing what you're editing. The page shouldn't move with Home, End, PgUp, PgDn, arrow keys, etc., if your focus is within a comment in Edit mode. Please

  13. External users, having the same domain with the company are creating free glip account. They are getting an email notification that their sign up was declined due to the admin settings. We would like to decline them but turn off that email notification.

  15. We're an organization of recruiters and sales staff that are now 90% working from home. During the pandemic we all started using our cell phones - because we hadn't migrated to Ring Central (which we did Summer 2021). Staff are used to saying "Siri - please call...". We're trying to get our staff to only use the Ring Central Mobile app - but they miss handsfree virtual assistant dialing. I'm sure this presents complications with Siri and Google but here it is - that is the request. Cheers and thank you!

One of the main issues we have with the Chat is that team members sometimes miss messages - either they miss the notification top right or the window hasn't been opened and it's knocked them offline.In the old days of MSN Messenger, they had a great feature where you could send a nudge and it would shake the screen or pop up to the front window. This would be really useful - at the moment we often end up having to Whatsapp team members to say "check your Glip" because they've not seen the message or it's not notified them…

I hope we can add the TTS option / typing box inside the Admin portal 's Auto receptionist > company greeting > custom - as an option too aside from recording and uploading an mp3/wav Text to speech recording. Customers should have a built in box there to type Text to speech instead of doing the lengthy workaround of TTS via IVR menus - specially when they don't want to do key presses or select extensions - but just do a Company greeting via text to speech.

  18. Currently, if you disable/delete a user from the RC admin console, all conversations with this user disappear. This includes direct 1-on-1 communications, as well as ad hoc groups (not just their messages, but the whole group disappears). Often times, these groups contain pinned/bookmarked messages and attachments that are important.It would make more sense if the past employee's content was left intact, but their name/avatar/profile simply denotes their off-boarded status. A group shouldn't disappear until the last person in the group no longer has an account.

  19. When I create an event on the calendar for a group, it automatically sends out a notification to the group chat that I have created an event. It overwhelms our group chat when I have 30 events that I'm creating in a month! I would like to be able to turn off the notifications to the chat. Everyone sees the event on the calendar anyway.

  20. I would like more options for repeating events on the calendar. We have a bi-weekly meeting, but I have to manually create the event since the repeating options are only "every day, every weekday, every week, every month, every year."
