  2. Add the ability to configure specific numbers that would override the Do Not Disturb setting. Use case is for someone who is on call after hours for emergencies, who may want to set RingCentral to Do Not Disturb for general calls and messages but still needs to receive calls that are coming from the emergency dispatch number. Similar to what iPhone currently has where you can set the ability for a number to still come through as a call when your phone is in Do Not Disturb mode.

  4. Customer uses RC App on Android (Zebra) device. When a call comes in, it usurps the entire phone screen and function as opposed to how it behaves in RC App on IOS which leverages the IOS Call kit and call rings in via a banner at top of screen and the app the end user is currently working in is still available to them. The banner has call controls to answer or ignore....when answered the banner persists and gives speaker option and mute so the end user can continue to work in current app while talking on the call...Would like…

  5. The new app is great and continues to be improved. I would like to see an option for users to at least change their password from within the app. If possible, it would be nice for them to change their PIN and possibly see/change their secret question there as well. However, I would be fine with just change password. Another possible option or addition would be a way to expire users accounts and have the app/portal request they change their password the next time they login. This would help for rollouts and use of generic/temporary passwords.

  6. if i own 10 companies i dont want to remember every phone number to dial out before i call. if i can click on app. click on phone symbol.pull the phone numbers down from the from: tab and see all my company names with ph#'s THAT WOULD BE GREAT!!

Adding the ability to play a sound or display an indicator without flashing message content into view, or the ability to snooze notifications so that rather than flashing up for every message, only one is seen per given time interval, or a single persistent notification to indicate unread messages. Could be controlled on a per-user basis.Currently you can only enable or disable notifications entirely on the desktop app per user.

  8. Currently, on Glip (RC Unified app), under Direct Messages, whoever sends you the most recently message will be the one to appear first on the list.Along with that, there is also be a way for users and admins to filter out the list of users alphabetically.

  9. My suggestion is to allow the RC phone app to accept transfers alongside its desktop app counterpart. This would be very useful for customers who do not have headsets and rely on their cellphones for using their RC account

  10. At the moment, BT's BT Cloud Work Phone, developed by Ring Central, doesn't have a built in sound equaliser unlike many soft phones. Speaking to BT they say that the software doesn't have the ability 'yet' but couldn't tell me if this meant it was on it's way. They were a little vague.

The problem I ran into is assigning a new user to an unassigned extension: Old SMS history was available to the new user.Problem: C-Level or other VIP users may have communicated sensitive data that would otherwise be restricted to the new employeeMy goal is to have a mechanism by which to purge SMS history from an extension.The current settings require you to gain access to the existing account and sign-in as the end-user to delete message history. Disabling and re-enabling the Messaging does not purge the previous data unless it is manually deleted

  12. In the MacOS none of my iCloud contacts show up. It's very frustrating because I can't see at a glance who called or left a voicemail or call recording. My contacts appear just fine on my iPhone.

People that have difficulty speaking, or cannot speak, cannot use RingCentral to place a phone call or speak during a video call (they could use chat, but this feature is something we would like to extend to video calls as well. We would like for someone to have the ability to place or receive a call through the app, hear the caller, and be able to type their responses and have that response read back to the caller.

There should be an admin app. It should have one page that gives an overview of the users and their status as well as all of the current callers.I should be able to see how many customers are waiting in the Queues. Also have a button on each call for the listen/whisper/barge feature and listen to the recording of recent calls.

  18. Need to be able to access our pool-voicemail extension from the RingCentral app. We use a messages-only line for our queue voicemail, which the team access together. We need to be able to access this voicemail line from the RingCentral app.

  19. We should be able to minimize the app to reduce the screen real estate used. The Apple minimize button does nothing and manually you can only shrink the window to about 1/3 of the full screen.

  20. Request is to add ability to turn on/off Mobile Notifications per Team. We have created quite a few Teams within RC. Our employees can be included in multiple Teams but may want to only receive Mobile Notifications from certain Teams. Unless I'm missing something Mobile Notifications are either all on or all off as opposed to having the ability to control notifications per Team.
