  2. With 'Desk Phone Pairing' enabled, please provide the ability for the user to answer the call with their desk phone and still have all the active dial pad features on their softphone vs. having to answer on the softphone to enable the dial pad features.

  4. When I get a call for one party and tried to add a call to the current call, the third party's call goes to voicemail. I am not able to release just the voicemail call. I would have to hit the hangup button which in turn releases both calls. My intension is to have 3 people on the line and when I am finish with one, I can release them and continue my conversation.

  9. Add a feature where you can use the app while also using a desk phone. Background: We came from Mitel, where the app worked with the physical phone. So, if you were on your physical desk phone and you also had the desktop app open, the app would show your active call, and you were allowed to click actions on the app such as transfer a call directly to someone's voicemail by clicking 2 things, then you would hang up your physical phone.

  10. We have received feedback from our customers regarding their experience while using the RingCentral web app on the Firefox web browser. Currently, Firefox is only partially supported, leading to error messages for some users. (this is from advice from our higher engineer)To enhance the user experience and ensure full compatibility, we kindly request that our technical team extend comprehensive support for Firefox within the RingCentral web app. This improvement will not only eliminate error messages but also make our platform more accessible to a broader user base, including those who prefer Firefox.

  11. Customer wants to have an option were they can add favorite contacts available when transferring a call using RingCentral Desktop App.

    Note: They don't want to type the extension number after clicking the Transfer Button, They want to show their favorite contacts available to Transfer a call after clicking the Transfer button.

  13. Driving Mode, give us a toggle for driving mode to reply to RingCentral messages and sms messages while driving.

    Allow user to set automatic message to reply to incoming RingCentral messages or SMS text messages while driving. Make it an editable message to be customized by the user to fit the circumstance.

    Example response: I'm driving right now and unable to respond, I'll reply as soon as it is safe to do so.

  14. The customer is requesting to have a feature in RingCentral app wherein there will be an option to search the external number from the main search bar and it will show the information such as date and time of the call (incoming/outgoing).

    Currently, when you use the search bar, it will only show results for messages, it would be great if the call logs will also appear when you search a number.

  15. Currently, if using Desktop Pairing mode to use the app to make calls through a deskphone, you do not get the application pop-up dialpad. If you want put a call on hold or transfer while in this mode, you have to do it from the deskphone itself. Would like to have the full desktop app experience while connected to the deskphone (like the ability to put calls on hold/transfer calls from the desktop app while paired with the deskphone).

  16. In the Text inbox and Call Log, only the name of the contact appears, it should show the phone number as well when the contact has been added.

    Also, the Telephone, Text, Contact+ Icons should be a bit bigger and maybe color coded where ever they are located. Navigation will be easier for users with multiple screens.

  17. I need to be setup a number of phone extensions to not be able to call outside the building.
    Essentially, I would like to allow certain phones to only be able to call internal extensions. Preferably we would like them to be limited to which extensions they can call.

  18. We recently enabled a security setting to lock our computers after 5 minutes of inactivity. While other apps recognize that a call is in progress (like Teams), it seems RC is not able to perform that keep alive function.

    Is it possible to configure RC keep Windows from locking while a call is in progress? Thanks!

  19. There should be an option to hide Contact Center Numbers from the Caller ID drop-down in the RingCentral application so the users cannot use them as an outbound caller ID even though they are viewed as company numbers.

  20. Please create either a system wide MSI or EXE installer with auto update that can be installed with one user profile on a computer and be available with all other profiles old and new.Right now if we install using the exe installer it will auto update but the next user will need to have RingCentral installed on their profile. Or if we install using the msi installer under an administrator profile other users will also have RC available next time they log in but it doesn't get updates automatically and IT has to either push those updates out or manually…
