  1. I would like to have the ability to remove certain permissions for some users in the desktop app only. For example, there are some users we want to be able to use the meetings/RCV feature for online meetings, but not be able to call or text from the app. I would also like to remove access to fax, Apps, Messages, Workspace (tasks, calendar, etc.) as there are some features that we use other platforms for and do not want available to our users.

A user of ours asked if there is a way to turn off the part in Ring Central Max that shows users how many calls they have taken from queue, due to said users not taking calls after they hit their monthly quota. Would like a way to either block users from seeing this or turning it off altogether.

  4. To have a pre-recorded voicemail that will be sent to each of his customers just in case cannot reach them. To leave voicemail messages to every customer instead of automatically sending the pre-recorded vm.

  6. The customer would want to have an option where they can automatically save received SMS/MMS that includes photos instead of having to download them one by one. Currently, their business requires sending and receiving pictures. It would be helpful for them to have a save button on the RingCentral App

  7. Our company uses a private team to share ideas about work and communicate to each other. Ideas or points are shared - it would be very help full if a search feature were added to find these items. Sometimes these points are not pinned so searching back days or months is very difficult. Another idea would be add a search feature by date. So if an idea or example was addressed at a particular time then it would found easier. IE - tax information around tax deadline in April.

  11. Customer wants to know how to get the fax email come in by a specific name. They have about 2500 emails sent out to the same number, but don't have a way to search email for a specific client that they sent out. 2nd issue is that they have more than one company that use the RingCentral, but can only log in as one company at a time. Customer would like to be able to sort outbound faxes by name.

  13. Like when I'm having a vacation, i want to set who's gonna receive the faxes in my company for a specific time and date. for example im out of office every wed and fri, I can set a custom rule where all of the faxes in my company will redirect to another extension only for that specific day.

When a user search for a contact that is imported from external directory such as Google Directory and this user's contact unchecked the "Include user in Corporate Directory" parameter, the RC parameters are not supposed to be shown.The behavior is correct on Desktop RC App but it's not the case for Mobile RC App: the "extension" attribute is shown which is not supposed to be the case.

  19. In the Desktop app settings > Phone, there is an option for launching an external app or website for incoming calls. However, the parameters provided do not include an option to search the caller's 10 digit number without formatting. The URL I am trying to use requires just the 10 digit number with no parentheses or dash. So, if (888) 555-1234 is calling, I want a parameter that generates 8885551234

Restore the display of prefixes and suffixes in the contact full name field within RingCentral's RC App. This would enhance contact organization and improve efficiency for users who rely on these details for identifying company names in incoming call windows and search fields. Sync Google contacts from the RC app to add suffix and prefix option
