  4. So you're a manager and want to gamify and coach your reps who use RingCentral as their main dialer. You want an appropriate breakdown of call analytics and export/sync/integrate that data with a sales coaching and gamification platform (external to Ring Central). You currently have 2 options.   5. Currently, we use an API integration that simply sends a site-specific customer satisfaction survey that is sent 7 days after their order was fulfilled. This is a trigger that is automatically activated, the sms message is sent and seems to be in working order. However, the number that is defined as the outgoing phone number belongs to the user extension of our Administrator (1002) which is (617) 674-1243.     This is possible using Enhanced Business SMS using the Shared Inbox feature. You might also look to Workflow Builder to help - as automations can be used to send SMS from other phone numbers (it requires some reading of the documentation though).

  7. Currently when configuring Ringcentral archiver with SFTP all connections are held open 24/7. This will slow down most FTP servers with more than 10-15 users on the archiver. SFTP connections should only open when the archiver has data that it needs to archive. We need a scheduling feature so that clients with large user counts can actually use the archiver.

  10. Calls are being logged to Salesforce when users use the CTI dialer to make and receive calls. However, there are RingCentral users who does not have a Salesforce login to use the CTI dialer and their calls will only sync to RingCentral.Having all calls register to Salesforce (regardless if the user does not have a Salesforce login) would be helpful for data collection.

  12. I am not sure if this is a limitation of Microsoft's or RingCentral's or if this was just an oversight when the SCIM provisioning integration was built in Entra (formerly Azure AD). However, it would be nice if automatic provisioning could read the phone number assigned to a user in RingCentral and set the user's phone number in Entra.

  13. In Quebec, Canada there is a law referred to as 'French First' - this means Quebec-based businesses are required to use French whenever and wherever possible, before English. The RC → Contact Center Corporate Directory sync enforces a 'Corporate Directory' in English to be present. If the API does not find this directory, it will create it. For our customers in Quebec, this creates a problem where they will rename the directory to the French "Repertoire d'entreprise" but will not sync, and a new English 'Corporate Directory' is created nightly, with updated/synced contacts.The sync API does not allow for custom…

    Currently, when Microsoft 365 contacts are synced to the RingCentral Mobile App, any updates or revoked contact information from Microsoft 365 are not automatically reflected within the app.

    At the moment, customers are required to manually clear the cache/data on the RingCentral Mobile App in order for the updated contact information to sync correctly.

    Would it be possible to consider adding a feature enhancement where Microsoft 365 contact changes automatically synchronize with the RingCentral Mobile App without requiring users to clear the app cache manually?

  16. Disable email notification for MS Teams changes.

    For a couple of days now, I have gotten a message from service-uk@ringcentral.com saying first "Presence Sync for Microsoft Teams Disabled" and then "Presence Sync for Microsoft Teams Enabled", all while I have not done anything at all with Ring Central, nor have I done anything to the settings. Why is this happening? Can you please make it stop?

  19. Using the Archiver feature, specific to Smarsh it would be very helpful if you can customize the data or make certain data fields more descriptive when sending the data to Smarsh. Currently the data is sent as is and once the data flows into Smarsh many of the data fields are blank are use general terms. For example, allowing for the users first name and last name to flow through would be extremely helpful.

  20. Currently, users cannot add contacts integrated via M365, Outlook, or Google to their Favorites within the RingCentral app. When these contacts are the source, the option to add to favorites (STAR button) is not available.

    In contrast, contacts originating from RingCentral, TELUS, or AT&T can be added to Favorites without issue.

    Users should be able to add contacts from connected accounts (M365, Outlook, Google) to their Favorites, provided the contact has a valid phone number. This aligns the behavior with contacts originating from RingCentral, TELUS, or AT&T.
